The vehicle I reserved had an inoperative AC compressor. Alamo quickly substituted an equivalent vehicle but the new car was EXTREMELY dirty from the previous family and had not likely been cleaned by Alamo. I was in an rush to depart for our family trip so I could not take the time to have Alamo clean the car. During the course of the rental period, I detailed the interior which was filthy and washed the outside of the vehicle. As I was returning the car at Orlando International Airport, the attendant asked me if I was happy with the rental. I explained what happened and what I had done. He instantly apologized and then offered to compensate me with a discount on the rental. I was overwhelmed and shocked that he would offer that to me without my asking. It shows how serious Alamo is about customer satisfaction. I would rent from Alamo any time I am on travel. Keep up the great work!Reviewed 14 May 2024

This was the worst car experience I ever had. My reservation was for 12pm but the car rental agency is. closed from 12pm - 2pm. When we showed up at 2pm they said because it had been two hours the reservation was cancelled and the car was already resold. BUT ITS NOT POSSIBLE as they were closed so how did they sell the car. Anyway they almost ruined our vacation but luckily there was a RENT - A - CAR across the street with a super friendly staff and ended up being cheaper. NEVER USE ALAMO IN DAXReviewed 14 May 2024

This was a terrible experience of a fraud perpetrated upon us. When we landed at 7 pm the alamo counter at the airport was closed as was the car pick up site across the street. There was a sign stating clearly that office hours were until 8 pm . When we calles the two numbers on the sign for the local reps the only response we received, after a long time, that she refused to come in but is sending someone else. . This turned out to be a rep of another local company not related to alamo who made it clear that our only option to get to Tikal early next morning was to rent a car from him at more than twice the rate we had booked and confirmed with alamo.The car was 19 years old with no air conditioning.
