The location was great! I would avoid the breakfast. There are a lot of places to eat nearby. The breakfast area was nice, but self service. If you wanted something hot, (including coffee) you had to cook it yourself. I also wished they had some donuts or pastries. There was a lot of whole fruit like apples and oranges, but no sliced cantaloupe or fruit salad. I noticed fruit flies or gnats flying around each morning. There was a cheese and meat platter. Some of the cheese looked hard and stale. I ate some of the meat the first couple of days and the next morning it was replenished. But I began to worry because it was always on the same plate and I couldn't tell which slices of meat were new and which were old. Also, we were the only ones who paid for the breakfast so we ate alone which was boring.
I didn't like the breakfast. Also, there was no hot water one morning for showers. Apparently, something needed to reset on the hot water heater but there was no one there to reset it. We were there four nights and towels were never changed.
Central position, traditional istoric building, very friendly and helpful personal
The property is excellent. The owner was absolutely wonderful. The room was very comfortable. Location location location! Highly recommend this place!
Excellent location! Lovely place!
The building is 300 years old, on a canal in the heart of the old city and within walking distance of all of the important landmarks.
We advised the owners of when we were going to arrive, we were met at the door and check-in was very easy. However, there was rarely anyone in the office during our stay so no one was available for questions or assistance. We couldn’t find anyone to explain how to use the coffee maker at breakfast and we had to phone the owner for instructions on how to turn lights on.
