Pros: Stayed here for business and it was great. All the required services and internet were available. As for comfort, the bed was perfect. My only discomfort was that it can get a bit too warm at night despite the heater being off.
Also, I have to say that the hotel is beautiful and in a very nice location. It is very easy to find your bearings to find your way back and feel safe even late at night.
Would definitely stay here again.

Pros: The Pulitzer was recently redesigned and it exceeded my expectations in almost every way. The location can't be beat. It's in a very smart area in Amsterdam with great bars, shops, and restaurants nearby. The design of the hotel is very chic. The interior courtyard garden is amazing. Everything was perfect except service at restaurant Jansz. Everyone was well intended but some people (hostess) abandoned post for several minutes and people were left waiting to be received and, &! My case, to collect my coat. This is one area of operation to inspect. Otherwise, everything was so perfect. I've stayed also at the Dylan hotel and Waldorf and I would say that this hotel is better than Waldorf because the design is so smart and not generic like Waldorf. And I would say it's equal to the Dylan. Dylan is also chic but has a more classic design inspiration. Stay here while it's still affordable. I imagine rates will increase once reviews and bookings start coming in.

Pros: I moly took off one star because they weren't very understanding of my accidental booking. Because of the change in time coming from the US, I booked for an extra day without realizing we actually get to amsterdam the next day!! They said because I booked through a third party they couldn't do anything but they could have given something complimentary to offset it. Of course it was my fault but still. The hotel was clean and they were very accommodating on the other hand, they help with booking events for you and give you a crib for a baby if you ask. They also have toothpaste if you forget yours and have European charging adapters to loan

Cons: I was on the first floor and there didn't seem to be a staircase that I could take to go one flight of stairs. It was annoying always having to wait for the elevator (which was insanely crowded) for such a tiny distance. Also, no gym which I expect in a hotel of this size and class.

The management responded with an upgrade at a reasonable rate and free drinks at the bar. The rest of the staff was also great. We enjoyed a bottle of wine in our room & the bartender opened our bottle without corkage fees, gave us crystal glasses to drink out of & even gave us some snacks to enjoy, all on the house! Overall a very great experience; we would consider staying there again!

The location is excellent across from Amsterdam Central and all the trolleys, but the best part of the hotel was the staff. Daniel helped my friends and I not only with our luggage, but with advice on getting around the city, recommendations for restaurants, and sightseeing. Overall great experience, and upon my return to Amsterdam I will definitely stay here and hope to get assistance from Daniel!

There was a mini fridge in the room but it was secured as it contained minibar items.I didn't open it for fear I'd be charged for items. Furthermore, I wasn't sure there was any space inside for non-minibar items. I also never received a facecloth during my stay.

Our room was four stories down from the nightclub. In spite of that distance, the “oontz oontz” was so loud as to be impossible to sleep through. I was exhausted, so the hour it took to reaccommodate us at the front desk seemed like a week. Definitely not worth the money.

Pros: The location is perfect for convenience to attractions of Amsterdam and places to eat. Amsterdam overall is so walkable and from this base it is easy to just set out & explore the city. The breakfast was ample and satisfying, plenty to choose from the buffet plus fresh preparations. It is also very close to a grocery store so you can easily get vittles & wine to consume in your room if you need to economize. My room was very small but I didn't need more and it suited my needs perfectly. Luxurious ensuite bathroom and good supply of hot water. Bed & pillows were comfortable & the duvet was cozy (my visit was in December).

Cons: Rembrandtplein is a touristy neighborhood that attracts a late-night crowd that can be rowdy & raucous well into the wee hours. Good thing that the windows are pretty thick. However the interior walls of the hotel are not so thick and if you have noisy young neighbors (as I did for the first two nights of my four-night stay) you will hear every note of their music. After enduring two nights of their nonsense I asked to be moved. The management was eager to oblige my request, but as it turned out the offenders were checking out that day, so I chose to remain where i was, and all was well after that.

Cons: Our room overlooked the lobby, hotel bar, and restaurant, so we heard everything that happened in the lobby. Hotel claims to have AC but it had been turned off for the year, even though it was unseasonably warm when we were there in October. We can live without AC but the windows don't open. Staff weren't wiling/able to move us to a different room when we asked. Wouldn't stay again, and wouldn't recommend.

Cons: This hotel is rated at 4, it is 3 star at best. The interior itself is dated, you can tell they have tried improving it by panting and cleaning the carpets. It is obvious a remodel is in order to bring it up to 4 star standard. I believe most European hotel turn off the ability to run the AC in the winter. With the windows closed the room became rather stuffy, we slept with the window open on the 6th floor with ear plugs in since the partying went on till 4am. The toilet had a constant urin smell even after having the maid clean with bleach and leaving us an air freshener. Maintenance replaced the sink trap but still smelled. My wife called the front desk for a simple question and front desk clerk by the name of Alessio(male with a beard) was rude and condescending.
