Great staff, perfect location, comfortable beds and great breakfast. So great getting a lift from the bus station, thank you once again!
Location was perfect. Free parking and free bridge access. The ability to explore the village before and after all the tourists leave.
Phone access to the owners was hard to get through. Shower wasn't the greatest
The B&B was right on the square, nice cosy room. Great place for an overnight stay while you explore the hill town.
Loved the location - right in the heart of Civita. Very old building which has been thoughtfully updated. A great shower too. Even though it was an ‘apartment’, the kitchen facilities were minimal
Stepping around the bidet to get to the toilet was a little challenging.
The village of Civita di Bagnoregio itself is picturesque and full of charm even during daytime. At nighttime, when the sun goes down and both the tourists and locals leave, the place takes on a wonderfully tranquil abandonned feel. If you decide to stay overnight, the B&B Civita is definitely a nice place to stay! The B&B is located bang in the middle of the village, in a medieval stone building on the main square. The rooms all face the square and the church, The room I had was bright and clean, with a large, comfortable bed. The bed sort of filled the room, but the owner had managed to fit in a wardrobe, bedside tables and a small desk. For me, it was perfect as I was travelling alone, but the room may feel a little cramped for some. The en-suite bathroom was clean and everything worked well. The shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The host was away when I was staying at the B&B, but he had kindly left keys and information for me to get into the property on my own. I was the only person staying that night, and as the little village emptied of people after sundown and everything quieted down, my being all alone in the centuries old building added to the magic feel of the place. As the host was away, the restaurant on the first floor of the B&B was closed, so I did not have dinner here. Nor did I have breakfast, but I was provided a breakfast voucher to use in a bar across the square. I would love to come back, both to stay, to try the dinner and to get a chance to meet the host. And I would like to take the opportunity to thank the host for letting me stay in the property 'unsupervised'.
Everything was good!
