not busy close to park, even in the city center
the staff are excellent in all ways, any small issue they act promptly without question and all speak English....I love them all
The onlly minor fault is with the tuk tuk service, I have noticed over the years that this service has gotten very slack by this I mean from the hotel down soi 10 is excellent but the return trip is no longer very good, in the past a guest would not to wait at the end of the soi for more than 5 minutes, now it seems that the tuk tuk drivers just sit and wait until a guest needs to leave the hotel resulting in extreemly long waits or walks down soi 10, this service should be improved immeadieatly
Centrepoint is arguably the best value place to stay in bangkok, I have stayed in more than 50 hotels in bangkok over the years and centrepoint is easily the best value for money, the food, staff, pool, room is excellent and most importantly consistant, I have stayed at centrepoint more than 100 nights over the past 18 months
The only problem at centrepoint is the Tuk Tuk service, most times you need to walk back up the soi ( 400 metres approx ) as the drivers wait at the hotel for clients leaving not givine any concideration to those returning, most times its far quicker just to walkk back, I think this service could be improved easily if Centrepoint wanted.
The hotel room was well organized and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is clearly efficiently run.
There was no minibar nor facitities for making tea and coffice in the room.
