Friendly, helpful staff, offered but didn't try to push extras, were clear about expectations and prices. I switched to a smaller car halfway through and was able to get an EV for not much more. I loved that you have EVs for reasonable prices and look forward to renting them in the future.

Overall very happy. Car was clean, available when I arrived a little early and staff was courteous. Check-in and check-out were simple and quick.

Pros:

The mini van was what I had reserved, ran well, was full of fuel.

Cons:

It could have been ready on time ( was 50 minutes late) could have been more thoroughly cleaned (candy wrapper on floor, road dust visible in interior). The Assistant manager said she had personally helped clean the vehicle as it was not ready on time. I’m sure she did. I’m also sure I was given a vehicle that had not been thoroughly readied for pick up, which is quite serious given we are in a Global health crises And that Enterprise promises rigorous cleaning of a car given their responsibility to do all possible to reduce contamination between renters.

Pros:

The check out staff was very friendly. We did not see anyone when we dropped off the car.

Cons:

We probably paid too much for paying for a half tank of gas before taking car. I’m sure we didn’t use that much.

Pick up was a disaster - My debit card was not acceptable, only a credit card could be used which had not been made clear. I was stranded at a provincial airport and no effort was made to help sort out the situation. My daughter in law had to leave work and travel some 45 minutes out of her way, rent the card on her credit card, name me as an additional driver - more expense, no sympathy or penitence from Alamo. Drop off, completely different - when asked if everything had gone smoothly I mentioned the difficulties I had and the Alamo guys could not have been nicer. they were apologetic, clear, waived the additional charges and allowed me to pay with my debit card anyway. Jesse was my first contact - thank you for making it all better.

Pros:

Nothing - because you show up, and no one is at the desk and then you are stuck with no car. This is the 2nd time Alamo does it. Learned my lesson - NEVER RENT WITH THEM!

Cons:

If someone was actually there to give me a car, that would be a plus - so I don’t have to be in a city with NO RENTAL CAR. Showing up for work is a plus in my book guys.

I ordered a Cadillac or similar, they didn't have any, so I got a smokey Mazda SUV that I could barely fit into instead, without a price drop or any other options given.

I did not receive the car. They told me the reservation was cancelled one Day before pick up date. All service was terrible and nobody helped me, i had a kid a oke year old baby with me. I talked to priceline and they just told me the reservation was still open but they didnt do anything either. It was frustrating not getting any type of support from anyone. They just told me to go rent somewhere else.
