Pros: The hotel is at a very good location. There is a direct train (S9) from Schönefeld Airport to Savignyplatz and from there the hotel is only a few minutes far on foot. From Savignyplatz you can get easily to the center of the city. A daily ticket costs 7 EUR for A + B zones and 7,70 EUR for A + B + C zones. The public transport is really good in Berlin! We received buffet breakfast: bread, butter, boiled eggs, cold cuts, 2 types of cheese, yogurt, muesli, butter, jam, coffee, tea, milk, orange juice.

Cons: We spent 3 nights at the hotel and we had wi-fi only on the first night. The floor crackles and the walls are so thin that we even could hear other people's steps in the neighboring room and we were awoken by them. My bed was not comfortable, the mattress was too old.

Pros: We enjoyed the adress, close to S-bahn. Nice restaurants near by.

Cons: A very small bathroom in room 8, whitout a sink. The sink was in the sleepingroom.

Pros: Very nice location: a quiet neighborhood, S- and U-Bahn stations nearby, 109 bus that goes to Tegel Airport is just around the corner. This pension is located in a rather beautiful house that’s just a piece of art in itself. The owner is a lovely and kind man, I had no problems with checking in and out. My room was small, but clean and enough for one person who’s travelling with just a backpack. Never met any other guests while staying here and that is a huge plus for me and really for anyone not in a mood for constant social interaction. Overall a good, safe and cozy place to stay in Berlin.

Cons: The walls are very thin, I could hear every sound my neighbors would make, but soundproofing is problematic in almost every old house, so I was expecting that.

Pros: Character, breakfast, good restaurants nearby, very accessible for station

Pros: A very nice hotel. Breakfast served in a beautiful room. Great building with an inner garden/patio. Lovely neighbourhood with lots of restaurants, close to Kurfurstendam shopping area and Gedachtniskirche and close public transport with only a few stops further into the city. Great value for money. Staff was very helpfull to show us where to go and gave advice on public transport.

Cons: The room with the double bed was actually not suitable for two persons, the double bed was rather small. We were offered a room with twin beds and that was OK. Matras was a bit too soft. Shower did not have a constant flow of warm water. Took a while to get warm and kept turning cold all the time.

Pros: Clean, comfortable and a nice continental breakfast included!

Cons: Rooms needed airconditioner. Very hot in summer with only a small fan. Wifi didnt work in our bedroom, we had to sit in the foyer.

Pros: Close to transport, Or if you don’t mind walking like I did, it’s only 37 min to east side gallery. Clean room, very spacey. Few places to eat around the area. Wifi was good. I choose shared bathroom and had only had to wait once.

Cons: I arrived at 12 and couldn’t get inside at all. Check in is at 1pm. So if you arrived early and wanted to leave your luggage you can’t. Bed was a bit uncomfortable for me. But it might be different for others.

Pros: Good location.

Cons: There is possible when no hot water in shower.

Pros: Everything was sparkling clean, the bathrooms were regularly cleaned and although they were shared I waited only once for my turn. Also the towels were changed on 2 days which was very nice.

Cons: The pillows were really, really, really bad. You can use them for one night but for more than that they are really unconfortable.

Pros: Good location, comfortable bed, very clean, spacious and with everything needed for a short stay

Pros: The staff was really kind and we felt comfortable. Check-In and -Out was easy and we could even store our luggage temprarily at the reception.

Cons: Our room was on the main street and it was impossible to leave the window open during the night. Especially at high temperatures we had the last days in Berlin. Kindly a fan was offered in the room, but the mashine was really loud so that it was also impossible to run it in the night. For your stay I would suggest to ask for a room, which is not located on the main road.

Cons: The room color is dark brown and small space

Pros: Location is really convinient with proximity to two U bahn lines. Neighborhood is quite ok, it looks safe with few restorants close by.

Cons: This is cold war hotel, it looks like stuck in time. Personnel very unfriendly, they don't smile and speak only few words of English. No air condition in the room, so we had to sleep with windows open and than you get so much noise from outside (traffic, people) that even ear plugs don't help a lot. Breakfast is very limited with only few tables available in breakfast area so you need a lot of luck to get the spot to sit down and eat.

Pros: I liked that it was super clean and tidy. My room was small but enough for the type of stay. Walking distance from my meeting place, good connection to the airport, nice neighbourhood and overall, very good value for money.

Cons: Nothing really. The hotel was a very honest proposal for the cost, th staff were very polite and eager to help, breakfast was tidy and enough. I am overall very pleased with my stay. No bad comments. It is not a kuxury hotel but the price and cleanliness were top!

Pros: The staff was really nice! I was really early there and they let me check in WAY before the right time. The breakfast was really good!

Pros: Breakfast was nice, lots of choice in different foods. But there where limited chairs and tables, so on some mornings we had to wait a bit. Even though the breakfast was busy every morning, they stocked up on everything, making sure everybody had enough.

Pros: The room was a very clean and nice, and a good size. The girl on reception was very nice and hospitable. The bads were very comfortable.

Cons: The bathroom was too small. Breakfast was just ordinary, nothing special. No air condition in the room and there was too hot during our stay. We got only one fan to cool down.

Pros: It is located near to CityCube, where I had a conference. So location was good. Also it was clean.

Cons: It was rather too expensive for what you got. Everything was small, old and in need of an update. The bed was lumpy. Staff was not hospitable/friendly.

Pros: The location is easy to find. And the lady receptionist (she was working in morning shift on 14th July) who checked me in was very kind and humble.

Cons: The receptionist who was there on 15th morning was very rude. She was speaking in German only (I think). I requested her to call if any one who could speak in English. But she didn't care. After I checkout, I requested to keep my luggage and told that I will collect in the evening. I only could understand from her rude behavior and language that I can keep only two bags and must pick them by 17.00. I showed her the message which I sent at the time of booking. In which, it was stated that I can keep my luggage till 22:30. She again with a rude face and expressions told and gave some signs. I could understand that luggage must be picked by 21:00 otherwise, she will through away them. I was very unhappy and spoiled my vacation mood due to her behavior. Moreover, I was travelling with my family and they also seen how she was behaving with me. My Children were asking me later, why she was so rude.

Pros: It has more of a hostel feel, I think there's also people living in the same building above the hotel. It's quite old looking, but clean and welcoming. Don't expect some modern interior design, but you'll have everything you need for a stay. Private bathroom was very clean and you can see that they probably renovated it not so long ago. The price includes breakfast which is great, they had eggs, cereal, things to make a sandwich from, tea coffee, juice, yogurt and some more.

Cons: Quite hard to find a parking spot around the hotel.

Pros: I guess it was DDR hospital... Hotel has great location near central bus station and S-Bahn. It will be good proposal for budget traveler. Cheap, clean and breakfasts was included.

Cons: Everything needs renovation. Squeaky floor in our room. Bathroom was very small Breakfast was very basic. Nothing fresh (tomato, cucumber, salad or similar). Wifi was unstable and poor quality. Public parking only but fortunately it was free. We had to leave our car quite far

Pros: Beds were soft and looked for reliable. There was a lot of sunshine inside room. Clean room. Nice night lighting in the room.

Cons: Should be refreshed at all, like painting wooden parts of houses, some new paths, need better-kept greenery etc. Rules for bathroom should be more required, because no one was following the proscription of entering without shoes inside, than it was dirty until it was cleaned (once a day). A little stuffy inside room, better ventilation needed, or one more window, at the other side of room.

Pros: Great experience with cheap bar in the hostel area

Cons: Very hot as comes with such a small space, also pretty far from the centre averaging about a half an hour tube journey

Pros: It was nice as it felt a bit like camping but was a little cabin surrounded by green. The local Outdoor swimming pool is right next door. Breakfast probably good value if single person? Tempelhof and Hasenheide Park right next door.

Cons: We hated the unreasonable check-in time of 3pm. As check out is at 11, there is no reason to be so late. We arrived at 1pm - we took our time..., we were really tired as we had to get up at 4am or so. 1 adult, 2 children (10 and 13) Then walking around again as we were to wait for keys- but most were hanging right behind the girl in the office. No reason really. The receptionist wasn’t friendly and later we were just told the no of the cabin and no info was given on much. Only found out just before leaving after 3 nights that there was nice coffee available from machine upstairs available and free tea. Met nice guy that day too who locked away our bags - so we could explore more after check out. Some of the mattresses were very thin.

Pros: The neighbourhood is great and stops are around 5-8 mins to walk to. A bit far from center but there's tram to reach.

Cons: - The bathroom is really dirty during evening and morning. They clean only once a day but it should be twice instead. And only 1 bathroom (4 place for bath for women only) for the whole hostel so it usually busy. - the room is really hot during my stay and wifi inside the room didn't work at all. The room is also dirty on the wall and floor. - water in the bathroom after 11pm was super cold (without hot water)

Pros: It was just like a city camping experience. Nice feel to the garden, green and quiet. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and included some options to select from. Wifi available in majority of the facilities.

Cons: Our window was cracked and the lock seemed very easy to pick (we were completely safe in the end, but worried about leaving our belongings inside). The bathrooms are located a bit of a way out of the rooms and the key to them was a bit tricky. Coffee machine was broken in the morning when we had breakfast.

Pros: Friendly owner, waited for my arrival while I was delayed till 00:15. Small but cosy room. Breakfast works with a voucher which you can hand over at the bakery just around the corner. There you can order what you want for a value of € 5,-. Very nice people at the bakery, open every day. Hotel close to Spandau Central Station.

Cons: There was a family with kids in the room next to me, and they made a lot of noise till late in the evening.

Cons: There was no staff. The only person on the counter spoke only Turkish and utterly rude. The fixtures were broken. Lack of basic amenities like a soap, shampoo etc. Overall horrible and felt cheated. Noisy neighbourhood. With very loud and scary tone of arguments.

Pros: The breakfast was good, had different options to choose from and the staff were polite.

Cons: First booking.com did not follow their advert: it stated nothing will be taken from my credit card until I get to the property but immediately I tried to reserve, a credit card number was asked which was strange considering the fact that it was a no credit card option I choose, money was taken out of my credit card. I find it a little to tricky and not good, the room was unexpectedly too small for a "double" room idea, the bath room too small, for my four days, no one came to clean my room and again I wasn´t informed I had a limited amount for breakfast and was almost ordering above limit before I thought of asking.

Pros: Personal were a Bulgarian guy very nice Person and Helpful, he helped in any way possible , the price was good, also the location since i needed to use Spandau train station , internet was also good ,

Cons: No receptionist only a man who didn’t speak English & limited German, nobody answered the phone when I called - I came back from Santana concert around 11:30 & couldn’t get in. On arrival my booking was lost, after 15 min in the room I had to move to another one; no warm water the night I stayed there; the worst was ‘breakfast’ for 5 euros as explained at the bakery full of flies & wasps where you have to go. I paid extra to have decent coffee. Curtains were to small couldn’t hide light or view outside, worn out facilities. The owners of this property exploit the guests with a ridiculous price for one of the worst places I have stayed. Now considering never use booking com again- All the above for e 87,- the night!! The place is worth max 40,- it’s behind train rails !!

Pros: It was ok for a base for where we were visiting. It had a comfortable outside lounge Bed was reasonably comfortable

Pros: The Staff was good. It was only one person whom we met. He was kind to speak though he did not understand a word in english which is not exactly his fault. Location is ok.

Cons: They say breakfast is free. Is it really. Once you check in they tell to go to a bakery in the morning where you can eat for up to 5 euros. I will not class this as breakfast as they advertised. Secondly that bakery is having Food which are all eaten by Bees, Flies and Wasps before we taste it. When checked about it, they say this is the standard they maintain during summer. The staff are kind but cant speak englist. Any Non Germany speakers , it will be a night mare. Very small room. No space to move around. The room is tiny even for a single person and definitely not for 2 persons.
