Berlin Hotels near Zoological Garden

the location is very good the staff was very nice. it is a good choice for being able to see the city easily.

The hotel is placed right in the middle of everything and yet no street noise during our stay. The hotel room was well-equiped with everything you could expect. The breakfast buffet was excellent!! If you are more than 1,80 metres high you will have troubles taking a shower (standing in the bath tub).

Although I made the regular reservation the hotel charged 25% from my visa upfront - a month prior to my arrival and they didn't have records for that. Fortunately, I had all printouts with me so they agree to deduct it from my total- not much but 100€ is always the 100€. This happened first time with Booking.com reservations. So please better check your card charges carefully.

The room

It was conveniant to the stations. Was very expensive for the standard of the room.Not much atmosphere.The room was not as described,The water for the shower was not always hot and changed from hot to cold during the shower.The location of the hotel was not amazing,the area had no character and you could have been in any city in europe.

Fantastic location, next to Europa Center - a couple of minutes walk to the Zoo Garten s/u Bahn Station. I was surprised with the size of my room - it was really large and spacious and had a balcony - which not all of the rooms have. Everyday cleaning and helpful staff - we got some important and very accurate informations on the city tours at the reception. I can't understand why it's so family-friendly.. We have to ask twice for an electric kettle to the room - this is a thing you really need when travelling with child. After checking out and leaving our staff for a few hours - when we got back it turned out there was no "mother and baby" room in a hotel. But then the reception staff acted really great - they offered us a key to an empty room which normally was waiting for other guests. 12 eur - this is a price for the breakfast - quite high as the breakfast was avarage - nothing special...

Its location is excellent. Free internet was very handy. As we had to leave before breakfast (7am) on the morning of departure, we asked the day before if we could just get something small before we left or to take with us. Our request was not appreciated or taken on board at all. We were told it had to be prepared which is fair enough but we would have been happy with some fruit even.
