The first car that was brought to me had a soft front right tire that lost more air during the visual inspection. I prefer the gas tank is full when I pick up the car and I’ll return it full. This car was received with the expectation That it was 5/8th full and return it 5/8 full. Not an easy task The car I was rented has visible structural damage to it- I was told at pick up- I would be charged for any scratches to hub caps- does that mean I now own the hub cap or is this a cash grab.

I rented from ace punted to priceline that eventually sent us to driveamatic car rental. priceline first gave me the dates I asked for, then when we went to get the car, priceline had changed the dates to two days later. Drivamatic staff very helpful and got us a car. This is exactly why I try to avoid priceline. Saw another man at the counter with same experience. In the future will make direct booking with drivamatic or other local business.

I checked the Navigation option and I got the one with no navigation. The car was very old. The two tire caps were zip-tied. Barbosa had a poor road condition and I hit the pothole and had a flat tire. The rental company said I damaged the tire, and rim, lost the cap, and charged me $454.00. I swear the actual car might cost less than $500.00. I paid $168.00 for the insurance and that insurance did not cover the tire and rim damage. I was better off crashing the car and using the insurance coverage than having a flat tire. The whole trip was ruined at the end dealing with the rental company. I ended up paying a total of $930.00 for a rental car. I asked them for the damage charges breakdown and here are the charges: for the tire $195.51, for the rim 154.76, and the hub cap $424.04 (hub cap tied with zip-tie!!!). I can provide their documentation of the charges if this sounds too unbelievable. I feel like I was ripped off and cheated.
