I was unaware that a credit card was required for the pickup foe the vehicle I rented, I personally do not own any credit cards so it was a hassle during pick up, on the other hand the vehicle I rented was great, no issues at all and drop off was quick and easy.Reviewed 23 Oct 2024

Very poor- car was clearly smoked in and had expired registration. Customer service at the counter was terrible- as there was no one at budget they deferred to Avis. I have rented with other companies many times and though my credit card is in my maiden name, and my ID is in my married name, they refused to rent me the car. I called and spoke to a customer service rep and they confirmed if I showed the counter clerk my bank statement with my maiden name to prove my identity, it would be sufficient. They wouldn’t even let my father rent the car and add me as a driver as they requiered my ID and credit card. Never going through budget againReviewed 22 Oct 2024

Nearly 60 minutes in line to check in. Lack of staff to attend to very long line of customers. Returning car was easy .. very small airport….but charged me double stating that the gas tank was not full on return. Spent an hour on phone with customer service.. emailed gas receipt and finally got charge removed. Not sure how such a simple thing as reading gas tank level can get screwed up. I feel that a charge was trying to be slipped in hoping I would not look at emailed receipt. Not acceptable.Reviewed 21 Oct 2024

Filled up tank -apparently it wasn’t tiptop full, but it had stopped so budget charged me $5.00 for gas. Pretty chapped about it actually. Staff was ok, but it was confusing to pick up/drop off in a tent. ? Wasn’t going to say anything about tent service but since they are being petty about gas. Travel a lot, never had as much confusion as to where to pick up/drop off and never in a tent.🤔Reviewed 21 Oct 2024

Good as a whole. Pickup was dreadful. It took almost an hour and fifteen minutes to pick up car. There were not enough people working and they couldn’t seem to find the cars that had been reserved. It was better for me than the folks who had prepaid because their cars weren’t ready and they were very angry. Budget knew how many people had reserved cars and yet they couldn’t pull it off.
