All agents were nice and provided clear answers and some empathy, so that was good. There was no transparency online of what the collision waiver would cost. It was expensive as expected, but not being able to see my bottom line cost when shopping for reservations is pretty lousy. There was a really long line at the rental car center for pick up, and when we got out to the garage to select a car, the size of car I reserved was not available and there was a really limited choice. I got a much larger car, which I was not thrilled with for efficiency, city parking, and ride quality reasons, but which was usable. The delays meant I left the garage at peak rush hour, and traffic was at a standstill (even within the car rental lot!). After a long overseas flight, not fun. Can’t blame all Boston traffic on the rental car company, but they could have streamlined the pick up process to get us out the door earlier. and they could work with the city to site their property so it doesn’t create or suffer from such bad traffic bottlenecks.Reviewed 18 Apr. 2024

Kayak didn't prompt me for my FastBreak number so I initially had to stand in line, which was 10+ people and didn't move the entire time I was there. I eventually managed to add my reservation to FastBreak and was able to get my car there but I would have wasted a huge amount of time if that didn't work.Reviewed 18 Apr. 2024

1 They did not have the car I needed when I arrived for my appointment, gave me a poor substitute that was filthy 2 It took 4 calls to customer service before I even got to talk with someone who could help me. 3The only reason I even give 1 star is the awesome clerk in Fort Walton beach that got me what I needed and adjusted my bill for my inconvenienced. 4 3 days after returning car ON TIME, I received a text stating I needed to return the car. We stood in line for over 2 hours and then I'm the end were given a plug in hybrid car that had not been plugged in, had been smoked in which made my wife and kids nauseous, the car had been configured with weird and frustrating restrictions that wouldn't allow me to disable the incredibly intrusive and inaccurate parking sensors that beeped constantly, even when driving down the road at one point. Imagine the car yelling at you for being too close to every car passing you in the other lane. Turning the car in could not have been easier, everything else about this rental was absolutely terrible. I will never use budget again after thisReviewed 18 Apr. 2024
