vehicle was not ready when we got there, I have pictures of how filthy the vehicle was when we got it home and had a moment to look it over before our guests arived, had to clean it our selves, we were charged more than our itinerary says, very poor experience, would not recommend Budget!!!!!!!!Reviewed 2 Jun. 2022

Had 5 cars in less than 24 hours. Car #1 had garbage in it and oil change light was on. Car #2, woman behind the counter left after giving me the key (about 11 pm) - and it had a flat tire! Had to call emergency road assistance, which came at 1 am, and paid over $100 to stay in a nearby hotel to return the car when Budget opened at 8 am (had a donut rather than a spare). BTW, I had not left the airport lot! Car #3 also had oil change light on, and same woman asked me how long I'd be driving the car, as if that mattered! Car #4 I drove off the lot and around town (about 60 miles) when the battery light came on (it was cold) and then the "service engine" light came on, and the dashboard also would "ding" periodically to remind me. So I returned it around 4 pm. Car #5 had a low tire, and I took it to where the maintenance area (employees only were allowed) to have them fill the tire before I drove off. RIDICULOUS. Will NEVER rent from Budget again.Reviewed 10 Jan. 2022

Friendly lady at the counter. Budget never registered the return of the vehicle even though I followed instructions on the drop box. The customer service online never responded. The men on the phone (after the two hour hold) gave me no confirmation that the issue was cleared up and only promised to refund the thousands they charged my card for. I now have a latter saying I am being prosecuted if I don’t return the car (which is returned). I even drove back to the south bend airport where I rented the vehicle, and the man at the counter said it showed my car was turned in, but he couldn’t do anything about the refund. I would NEVER rent from them again. I have spent hours trying to Get this problem fixed, and it is still not fixed.Reviewed 29 Jul. 2021

Pros:Staff was great! Pickup and drop off easy!Cons:The car we had was great except the smell, it had a strong smell that was exasperated by the heat when ever it was closed for a while. Had to air out often. Liked having CarPlay to help get around etc.Reviewed 17 Jun. 2021
