This Was my first experience of car rentals in Burnaby, and it was excellent with hertz.. staff is very friendly and helps with all the queries... Cars are well maintained and clean. I had the best driving experience... I would recommend this for everyone who is looking for cars on rental.

The guys are freindly.

Cons:

But they are tricky too. I iniatially booked a small car on line and promoted to a mid-size. But when I actually arrived at the reception, they firstly charged me with some higher rates untill I pointed out the otherwise, then they told me there's no the car in deal, only what's there left.

Overall the service is very good and friendly.

Cons:

Pickup delayed more than one hour and desk office is busy Saturday in processing many customers' orders, we have to cancel a short trail trip on our first day schedule.

Pros:

Fast,easy convenient location. No fuss. Car was clean, nice and comfy. I originally booked for a late pick up but my schedule changed and needrd the car first thing in the morning. They had a car ready for me.

Cons:

Prices are high but I guess that's the going rate. $84 for one day rental basic car with no extras.

The staff were friendly, informative, and very helpful. Picking-up and dropping-off my rental went smoothly and the car itself was flawless. They were also open for drop off on a holiday which was nice!

Car rental was fine. Don't use affirm to pay as sixt requires you to use the card you paid with for a deposit upon pickup and was not able to process it so I had to use my own debit card and now I'm trying to dispute the charge with affirm since I paid out of my own pocket

The pick up and drop off was very easy. We rented a car seat and they had a top of the line toddler car seat delivered to our vehicle for us. The vehicle was nice, clean and comfortable.

Staff was fantastic at pick up and drop off. However, we prepaid through Kayak and our vehicle was not available. Our only choices were to go without a vehicle or pay double to upgrade. The last minute rental was a bit pricey to begin with, and the final cost was exorbitant.

I had booked a minivan but they said I had booked a midsize SUV. I showed them the Kayak note and they said I had to call Kayak. In the 2nd they didn't have a Suv and had to give us a minivan. I felt abused

Once we learned the facility was about 1/3 mile from the Iceland airport and could not find a Sixt booth or their shuttle at the Iceland airport, we decided to walk to the facility in the rain & wind. Otherwise, the check in & check out process was ok and the vehicle served us well in our travels around Iceland.

I had to pay so much extra because apparently the insurance I had didn’t cover Expedia/economy car rental despite said insurance covering every other car rental agency. So either I was lied to or it’s just economy and I’m never going to rent from them/expedia again. I was also given a number to call travel guard which is not able to cover after the rental purchase was made. The car was also full of dog hair. In total this rental cost me 200$ instead of the 40 +30 I paid for the rental and insurance initially. Huge rip off. Took forever and is so inconvenient to get to without a car! Insane. Never again.

Took a long time to get the car. First of all, there shuttle only comes to remote rental car center near LAX. You need to take a bus to get there. Then you take there shuttle to get to their office. It took me almost an hour to get the get and be on my way. There were two agents working the desk and they were really helpful but, the whole process was slow. I had to wait a long time.

I had to pay an extra $40+ for insurance despite informing them saying that the insurance is covered through my Amex Cobalt. I had no other alternative as I was in a rush.

After my experience with this company I understand why they have a low score, initially I let myself be carried away because they offered me a very low price, but when I pick up the car the cost was going to be higher than the other companies with better score, so I decided to go and rent with another company, I do not recommend ECONOMY RENT A CAR for anything, very bad service and unethical

Total rip off like priceline who mentioned Unlimited kms on the invoice and then refused to refund me. They started showing me terms and policies when the Invoice clearly shows Unlimited kms. Spolied my trip. Lost my money and had to book another place. Waste of time. Terrible experience.

I came to pick up the car and nobody was in the office so I had to wait for them to reach and got the car late. Also, I asked for some extra to be deducted from the deposit but they made a mistake and I had to pay it separately. They did give me an upgrade because they were late but I just end up spending more gas because I got bigger car..

Had to return the first car like the front was gonna fall off exchange it. The next day upgrade was not much better. Told the attendant that I would bring it back on Tuesday, April 30 by 9 AM the original contract was for 22 April through 29 April and again I told the attendant that my flight was on the 30th so I have a receipt showing that and now they’re trying to charge me for an extra day so I probably would never do business with priceless again thank you

Misleading. Even the workers there know that their boss is scamming tourists. The prices they give on line are nowhere near the price you pay upon arrival with “mandatory” insurance.

The facility was dingy and the pick up and drop off processes were over complicated and extremely slow. My experience was fine but at least a third of the other customers ahead of me had issues with their reservation. The car itself was fine and the price was good, but I feel like I won a lottery of sorts and I don't think I'll choose them again.

The car was dirty when we picked it up. It only had a single floor mat il and it was in the back. It was missing a hubcap and had body damage to the right rear. The final price was much higher than was quoted. The listing said that the car was "in terminal" but it was not it required a shuttle ride. Overall experience was poor. I would rather have a bus pass than rent from these people again.
