Overview
Tropical Palms Resort offers more excitement and a change from the usual resort stay, giving guests access to private cottages on its campgrounds in the heart of Kissimmee. This is ideal lodgings for couples, groups of friends, families, and more – you can even bring your four-legged friends along for a nominal fee.
Located in central Florida, Tropical Palms Resort is a short drive from both Orlando and Tampa and is easy to access if flying in to their respective airports. It’s close to all the thrilling family-fun attractions in Orlando, the elegant shops in Winter Garden, and near several exceptional golf courses and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
There are many different types of accommodation types to choose in order to meet the needs of all guests, including Cottage Standard: 1 Bedroom to sleep 4, Cottage Elite: 2 Bedrooms to sleep 6, and Cottage Premium: 2 Bedrooms/Loft to sleep 8. All cottages come with a full kitchen, flat screen TVs, and a furnished deck.
Aside from the Poolside Café and occasional s’mores nights, dining is done by meals you cook in your cottage or off the grounds. There are many exceptional dining spots in the Kissimmee and Orlando areas, so that shouldn’t be an issue for travelers.

Cons (-) The mattress's in both bedrooms were HORRIBLE, besides that the place was nice
Pros (+) We had more than enough space in the platinum cottage. It was clean, quiet, and centrally located. My husband travels a lot for work and stays in Hampton Inn more than 3 times a month, he commented that the cottage was cleaner than 90% of the rooms he stays in with Hampton Inn. There was ample closet and storage space and with the deal we got from Kayak, the price literally could not be beat!! Esp...
Cons (-) The beds could use new mattresses and the cottage needed extra pillows but it's not like we lost any sleep over these two things. The only other thing I might add is the cottage needed an informative guide inside. Pros (+) I liked the location. Right off irlo Bronson, you can't beat it. Quite. You have your own space.
Cons (-) The rooms were tiny, the couches were filthy, a strange smell stayed throughout or stay, even after we started a generous amount of frebreeze. No water pressure.
Pros (+) We stayed in the deluxe cabins. got 2 bedrooms and a kitchen for less than the price of a disney budet hotel room, which are very small. Much better for familes than staying in a single hotel room. Everything was clean, and the kitchen came with cooking utensils. Would definitely stay again.
Cons (-) We were close to the pool, and it was loud in the evening (pool is open until 11.
Pros (+) There were activities for my 5 year old to keep busy, either at the pool, or the mini-golf. The cottage concept was a nice idea for those without campers. The location right off of 192 is great.
Cons (-) The space was tiny and very tight, there was only 4 of us, but we had to keep our luggage in the car because there was no where to put it in the cottage. The bedding was thrown on and was old and torn, so we had to make the beds when we got there. The blinds were all broken and the door was very difficult to open and close. Considering we only paid $60/night, we got what we had expected!
