10.0 Excellent
Pros: The innkeepers were very knowledgeable and accommodating. The facility/lodge was historic and incredible. Frankly, I have rarely seen anything so clean and kept up. Our room, Pyne Room was very large and romantic. It had a fireplace, sitting room and canopied bed. The ceilings were very tall. This is a private feeling property although it seemed easy access to the places we visited. The grounds were extensive. It would be delightful for parties or weddings.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, relaxing, well maintained, clean
Cons: A little road noise but nothing that would dissuade me from going back
9.2 Excellent
Pros: As usual an exceptional experience. Wonderful rooms, beautifully decorated. Breakfast from Phil is not just great but a fantastic experience. This was our third time we stayed with Phil and Gloria and every time it was fantastic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent. The Inn is as quiet as can be, we thought we were the only ones there and there were 12 other people residing. Read the history album all the way back to 1775. Do you want to see 280 year old trees? They have a handful surrounding the manor. Revolutionary history with every modern convenience!
Cons: Not a thing.

Pros: It was a very nice place and the shower was great.

Pros: We loved the location and the friendliness of the staff. It was a quick in and out trip but we felt right at home. The shuttle is a nice touch for dinner and made our trip even more convenient.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the whole experience. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Staff at bar were great! Bar drinks were very good and breakfast food was delicious.
Cons: The pet fee was $75 a night and was not disclosed or posted on any booking information. That was an unacceptable charge and I questioned it but with no solution at the hotel when checking in. I however could not leave and go anywhere else because I had no other reservation and my dog was with me. They were out of many menu options and service at restaurant was slow! We were told conflicting information about what was included for breakfast. The bathroom was dirty and furniture was very scuffed up in room.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: I always like the convenience of the hotel. The price is usually good. The restaurant is tasteful and convenient and both times our waiters were very good. We get a nicr, quiet. clean room. The bed and the pillows are comfortable. The stone fireplace is the main attraction, especially during this Thanksgiving Season. Overall, the hotel is maintained very well. Kudos
Cons: As soon as I arrived the guy from London seemed as though he didn't want to serve me, and kept saying he could not find my reservation. So, I went to the American lady and "Wha'la...." there's my reservation:-). Interesting, right? "HAPPY" Holidays guy from London. In a Hotel setting, hospitality is always the best policy. Also, we had 1 bar of soap. We were staying one night and having the convenience of both a small sink/facial soap and shower/body bar would have warranted a better tip. Inconvenient, as we showered as soon as we arrived after an annual hiking outing. Some of us are recycling and with that said, actually are eco-friendly and repackage our soap bars to take with us to counter environmental waste. Thankful tho'

Pros: Modern and comfortable. Restaurant was very good. Breakfast was perfect. Nice balance of trendy and classy.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing, left 2 hours into stay with fiancé.
Cons: Left two hours into stay. It was a terrible experience. My fiancé and I Had a night to get away from the kid and have some “us” time. Upon walking into the room, the room smelled. We got into bed, the sheets were wet on the bottom sheet. I’m not sure if this was from not being fully dried or they simply weren’t washed but this was absolutely unacceptable. I did not complain, tbat is not something I would take kindly to as a person staying in a hotel. Whether it was water frkm not being fully dried or human fluids from the last guests, no. I will be contacting my financial institution and doing a full chargeback on this booking. I will also he contacting the health department and the BBB. This is unacceptable. Thank you for ruining my one night away, Durham hotel, do not stay.

Pros: Daytime staff, administrative managers, cleaning staff were all very flexible and helpful as we dealt with multiple highly stressful situations, both medical and legal.

Pros: It was a very nice place and the shower was great.
Cons: The pet policy. They allow dogs and a room right by us left dog in room and it barked and barked then add on the room was right beside the gym and the runners running sounded like jack hammers going on and on. Was planning on sleeping in but not so much.

Pros: We loved the location and the friendliness of the staff. It was a quick in and out trip but we felt right at home. The shuttle is a nice touch for dinner and made our trip even more convenient.
Cons: We wished the bar had a little more of a cozy environment. The other area of the lobby is inviting but the bar felt a little "under dressed" for the rest of the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very attentive staff made our visit an exceptanal experience.
