The drop off was good. When we came to pick up the car the agent lied to us and said we were at the wrong location, even though I had the Expedia reservation number, then tried to get us to pay over double the rate guaranteed by Expedia.Cons:

The car was great for what we wanted.Cons:
The Avis representative in Tulum, MX was very difficult to work with at pick up and drop off. Avis offered insurance coverage at three times the total rental rate. My credit card company provides rental car insurance coverage so I opted to decline the Avis coverage. Upon drop off he attempted to find any way to charge us for any prior damage on the vehicle “since you did not pay for insurance.” We took great care of the car and added no additional damage (already had visible scratches and door dings in some places). It was over the top ridiculous!! I am still awaiting my final bill.keddy by Europcar
