Customer Complaint Letter(Qeeq Number: 93627548): I made a reservation in advance from South Korea to rent a Toyota. However, when I arrived at Bozeman Airport, your male staff member gave me a Mazda instead(EXB834 Montana), which is a car unfamiliar and uncommon in South Korea. If your company had to change the reserved vehicle, you should have notified me in advance. Unfortunately, your company failed to do so. In addition, the navigation panel in the Mazda did not function properly throughout the rental period, which caused me significant inconvenience while driving. I also had difficulty charging my phone in the car. When a customer reserves a car, but is given a completely different vehicle without any prior notice—especially one unfamiliar in the customer’s home country—it creates great inconvenience and even potential safety risks. Furthermore, requiring the customer to purchase liability insurance at the airport may also be considered an unfair rental practice. Therefore, I kindly request appropriate compensation for these inconveniences and issues.
Inaccurate fuel gauge reading at pickup led to incorrect fuel service charge. Call to 800 number quickly resolved the issue however. Car was dusty at pickup.
The first car needed an oil change, second the hood wouldn’t stay shut, third also needed an oil change but they told me to drive it anyways.
I was charged an extra $161 on my credit card for the rental. The reservation "total cost" is $260 but my credit card was charged $401.79 with no explanation or approval from me.
Excellent
Horrible. I was charged $250 for a convertible. They gave us a Jeep that over heated within 20 min of driving away. Had to turn around and drive back super slow because of the heat and smell of burning oil. Kept the temp low enough to drive. Got back. Got keys to a very small mustang, NOT convertible. Our drive was to Yellowstone and we wanted the open air views. After that, we returned a THIRD time with an “oh well, it’s all we have” for a regular suv. No convertible like we paid for. Never again! No offer for a discount. No refund. Plus 2 hours stolen from our one day trip in Yellowstone.
