The office wasn't very organized, the car didn't have gas, car seats weren't available for rent, the car was fine but smelled like smoke although it said non smoking. It wasn't as nice as other cars from other companies, and even from other Enterprise locations.
The price was very good. It did take a long time for them to get a vehicle that matched what I had ordered. The Nissan Rouge ran well, but I had to put air in the tires, the key fob had a low battery, and the car didn't look completely cleaned as some things were left over from the previous users. The car windshield had a slight chip in it. I took some photos, as I don't wish to be charged for something that was on the car when I received the car.

I booked reservation for June 28-Aug. 3, 2024. When I got car, I was told that Budget only would book for a maximum of 30 days and that I would have to make another booking for the last week. When I went online to do so, prices were considerably higher than when I made initial booking. I therefore went to another agency that was cheaper for that week. This was far less than convenient. Had I known this upfront, I would probably booked with another agency to begin with.

Excellent! I've rented many times, but this was the first time I can remember that I was given a completely new vehicle that hadn't been driven before. This made for a very enjoyable vacation!
Vehicle Condition: The car I was provided had an overpowering smell of cigarettes and marijuana. This made the driving experience extremely unpleasant and concerning for someone who values a clean and comfortable environment. 2. Maintenance Issue: The check oil light was on from the moment I picked up the vehicle. This not only caused anxiety about the car’s reliability but also reflected poorly on the vehicle’s maintenance standards. 3. Price Discrepancy: I was initially quoted $263 for the rental. However, upon picking up the car, I was informed that the total cost had inexplicably risen to $580. This significant price increase was neither explained nor justified, and it feels like a clear breach of trust.

The Nissan Rogue is a keeper. When traveling cross country from NY to MN, I hit a patch of rough winter weather. This vehicle performed beautifully and the Rochester Hertz gave it to me as an upgrade; so thankful for that. The one recommendation to Hertz that I would make: in addition to providing the street address for the Hertz counter associated with both pick-up and drop-off, provide the customer with additional information such as "at the airport, inside the terminal, near arrivals." Despite possessing an intimate familiarity with the MN location, I had difficulty locating the counter.
