Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa8.8/10 ratingout of 6 reviews · C$ 208 avg price/ night
PROS: The thought of a traditional country hotel.CONS: The hotel hosts big weddings, which seem to take presidence. We arrived to an empty reception and waited 10 minutes to be greeted. We waited 20 minutes in an empty bar to be served. Both dinner and breakfast had periods without service. The night was disturbed by the wedding revellers antics until 4.30am when the hotel told them to be quiet. The walk to breakfast included a strong smell of vomit in the corridors. It was like staying in a Premier Inn in Nottingham surrounded by groups of stag and hen parties.

PROS: I loved how modern the rooms were and the staff were very friendlyCONS: Only issue was a lot of dirt/ dog hair on the floor which would stick to our feet and end up on the bed
