Great location and staff. Pool and pool bar were great. Hotel is very old, sound echoed in hallways making continuous noise. Bedside lacked plugs for charging phones. Just like it says, looks like an old plantation on the river.

Super helpful staff all around. I cannot think of anyone in the hotel that was not nice or helpful. Kuddos to your staff. Thumb down: too cheap coffee machine in the bedroom that doesn’t not even work. Don’t put any is a better idea. 2 dollars for a cup of coffee
Pros (+) Breakfast was great as well as lunch at the Tiki Bar. Loved having the Adventure Center being right at the hotel. Dallas and Steve were awesome! Definitely recommend them for the Manatee tour and Sunset cruise!

Cons (-) The staff at the front desk could have been better accomidating. Instead they claim third party bookings are always messed up but next time we should book through them. They never called the company they allow to selltheir rooms for them. Theynever asked to see my reservation and they did not attempt to help the problem.

Cons (-) The walls were super thin. We were awakened multiple times throughout the night as loud people came down the hall. You can also walk down the halls and hear people in their rooms. I felt like we didn’t have much privacy.

Pros (+) Loved everything about this wonderful hotel. Stayed from July 4th-6th. Will not book on a holiday again. Parents do not watch their kids on the property. They were loud, carousing & running the halls banging back & forth all hours on the night. The pool area was crowded & very noisy. None of this was the properties fault. Just not what I was hoping for.

Pros (+) Beautiful location on the river, nice pool though a bit warm due to the hot weather. Great tiki bar that served casual food by the pool. Staff was very friendly. Had a great trip swimming with the manatees through their dive center. Would not recommend them for scalloping tours however - it is $300 for up to six people and you have to provide the entire group of six. They don't put tours together....
Cons (-) Our only negative comment, and it is no fault of the hotel, the guests in the room next to ours had a screaming baby that started at 1 am and continued until 6am when we finally got up. Extremely inconsiderate of them, but again not the fault of the hotel.
