The place was on the water and had many amenities. A restaurant and inside and outside bar with food and entertainment, it is also pet friendly. It’s also a marina so there were boats for hire to take a cruise down the Crystal River. It is located close to everything and the staff was superior.
The hotel/marina has been there for many years and shows the years. A little bit of maintenance could make it much better. The bathroom in my unit had a much needed paint job and actually it made the bathroom look dirty.
Best view around, very clean room, staff was very nice and helpful, and the restaurant has good food.
Rooms are very dated.
Great central location for visiting the springs
This is a diving center, and marina. As such, its been around for a long time. Seems really clean, although worn out and in need of serious TLC. Staff was friendly, food at the restaurant was good. Cant' beat this place if you just want a home base for the Crystal River experience.
Pool area needs tables, chairs and most importantly umbrellas. There is no shady area anywhere. Launching a kayak is a bit hazardous
The onsite restaurant is great
It's all about the views!
Fun Tiki Bar
Older building but comfortable
Value with a View
Beautiful views of true Florida, lovely marina, convenient boat launch.. Our room was comfortable and clean, the staff was friendly. Old buildings, but the furnishings, linens, are standard hotel fare.. Comfy beds. Good coffee, fresh fruit and sweet snacks for breakfast (don't expect bagels, muffins, or cereal).
Building needs a lot of maintenance. No proper closet, just a shelf, hanging rod which needed to be replaced.
Sad and Old but Aewsome
I stayed with my 13 year old daughter for just one night. After a great day of fishing and fun. So we get there and went to our room which is room 202 awesome view of the water, springs and all around the best room to overlook the water. However don't expect much for roomluxury. It's old musty and tub was moldy. But somewhat the room looked clean? Furniture 1980 maybe, beds firm but old too. We did have a cold fridge for food and drinks a microwave. And over all the room was quiet. Food at the ale house ok at best. The Beer at the (alehouse) was flat. So after two flat beers I waited to get back to the room for the finer beers.
Views are spectacular! We saw the Manatees right of the doc in front of our room, which my daughter loved.
