It's really amazing to have experience this wonderful, classy and elegant hotel! - Staff was really attentive and incredibly welcoming, all spoke English if that matters to you. - Entrance was very nice and big! All in marbles with a touch of Victorian Renaissance style. The room were spacious! The bed is very comfy with lots of pillows which I enjoyed it! The bathroom is big, it was all in marbles with a touch of gold. The toiletries were not a cheap kind. It was branded, so we took most of it! Lol! - pool area and gym are quite huge as well. I advise you to go during night time because you can see the city view while dipping in the pool. Their changing room was massive and very clean! - Restaurant was great as well and the price was reasonable specially for a very high class hotel like this. Food was nice, I really enjoyed it so much!

I have to give credit to Rita, the manager in the Lobby Lounge, she helped me arrange a surprise for a birthday. The views are extraordinary and above all, we got to stay in a castle! How cool! I hope to stay here again in the summer when the Royal Cellar is open and we can enjoy the waterfront a little more! For dining, I would recommend The Collections restaurant over Zhenbao. Collections is excellent! When ordering room service, be very clear because items were forgotten but, might have been lost in translation.

Pros: One of the most spectacular places we have ever being. Exquisite feeling, the atmosphere is something that I couldn't describe, you have to feel it by yourself. Decoration, attention to details, the view, the room (bed, bathtub, etc), breakfast, the bar and the band... simply incredible.
Cons: The lack of attention, organization, sometimes we didn't feel like this hotel suppose to be ”luxurious” or ”outstanding”... and, in the end, felt like we spend a lot of money in an incredible hotel with a low-cost service. Many things have disappointed us, such as: when we arrived, 1 hour after the check-in, we have to phone staff and remember them to bring our luggage at the room. Or unable to go swimming pool without a head cap, but children could scream and jump at the swimming pool (not relaxing). Or the room wasn't clean when we arrived back at the hotel (no water/coffee replacement/toilet paper) and we have to call again staff for service. Hotel's restaurant is very local, no chance to feel pleased by it. One day is enough.

Cons: Our room had water damage that was evident all down the wall by the bathroom. The wallpaper was stained. We ordered a non-smoking room, but the bathroom toilet area smelled strongly of smoke (rest of the bathroom was fine). The biggest issue we had was our room temperature. It was 27 degrees Celsius in our room and we couldn't adjust the room temperature. We called down and a staff member came up and opened a window for us. I assume that this is their normal room temperature because she did not offer us a different room to move to. We had a difficult time sleeping that night.

Cons: The carpet in our room needed to be steam cleaned; it was really stained. Also, we noticed on our last day no coffee or coffee cups were replaced and we so wanted coffee! I say go to Collections versus Zhenbao because a lot of items were sold out on the Zhenbao menu, I wish I would have known that before booking. Service was also a little slow and not “5 star service” but, it was during the Chinese New Year, this was probably why.

Pros: I liked the location and overall service. Breakfast was ok and the restaurant was good.
Cons: The air conditioning was not available due to being not summer time. All the hotels I have stayed have air conditioning all year long. The temperature was warm and it helped some, but not much with window opening.

Pros: For the price, it is excellent hotel. Maybe it was out of the season. Most of them speaks English, and very friendly. Need to extend one more night, and they accepted my low internet price for the extra night without any question. Love to go there again if I can get the similar price.
Cons: The season, it was winter, but that was not their fault.

Pros: Good decorated room and nice toilet.
Cons: Breakfast should be for 2 and I booked in couples. As you know I stayed 3 nights and breakfast for one is really inconvenient. Further the cost of additional breakfast is too high. You should know also consider the food courts are round the corners.
