The car ran poorly. It had over 53K miles and accelerated poorly and was sluggish. We were unable to swap it out because we were under tight time constraints and in different cities. The fuel economy was decent, but the car struggled to go over 60mph as needed on I-94.

At the last minute, when I went to pick up the car, I was an 1-2 hour early. The Hertz representative charged me extra money for picking up my car early, which I think is ridiculous. You are allowed to pick up cars as early as previous nite with no charges in cities where office closes at 5 pm., but Hertz charged me for 2 hours extra. Ridiculous!

Dirty car inside, like totally dirty and mark no damages, but there was damages and it was hard to c them at night what was the pick up. I was lucky to find the damages on a rental parking lot and make the photos, otherwise they would ask me to pay for them. The request of 2 credit cards as guaranteed was shock, they said we need two of your credit cards as it a luxury car. Lucky me I have 2

Supplier choice

The supplier choice is apparently an EV even though I didn’t select the EV option. They require you to bring the car back charged. For a one day rental to the airport, that is not realistic. I was also charged for gas, which I had stopped near the airport and filled up. I eventually got a credit but the whole thing was a hassle and didn’t leave me feeling good about renting from Budget in the future.

Pick up process was ridiculous. I'm not exaggerating--standing outside (not in any type of building or cover) for 56 minutes while they tried to figure out rentals for myself and 7 other customers. Ended up just giving me a size up, was not cleaned well, didn't have record of what fuel level was at, and staff spoke all of 3 words to me. I saw the poor reviews at this location and figured, how bad can it be? Yes I got my vehicle and it worked fine, but the entire pick up and drop off experience was horrible and I do not plan to rent from this brand at this airport again.

Enterprise refused to rent to me. They would not accept a state-issued temporary driver's license from the state of WI. I was literally turned away at the counter. So, I made a reservation under my wife's name. When she went to pick up the car, she was turned away at the counter because the vehicle had just been rented to someone else, and the desk agent said it was against their policy to allow for same-day, one-way rentals. Going 0 for 2 with Enterprise was exceedingly frustrating. I won't be giving them my business in the future. Also, the fact that Kayak allowed a same-day, one-way rental against the policies of the store was frustrating. A better agreement between Kayak and its vendors should be established. Perhaps Kayak's partners should be obliged to honor agreements made on their behalf through Kayak.

Got a car after waiting longer than an hour for it as the process is totally manual - calling the dispatcher to locate a car I ordered days before (who really saved the day and did a fantastic job in balancing out the incompetence of process and the don’t care attitude of the front desk person). When I got the car it was on empty - what the heck? I then ended up paying 340$ on top of the 170$ I had signed up for - never again!

They offer only old cars with tires about to explode and they charge as if it was a luxury car, I am pretty sure the cars they are offering are the cars from the same staff working there….I wouldn’t recommend anyone to rent here….its ridiculous!
