Absolutely awful. They didn’t have anyone at the Payless so everyone had to be in one line at the Avis. Line was SO long and the staff was moving so slowly. I saw one staff member texting slowly while looking at all of us in the long line. Extremely hot in there, felt like no AC. We ended up walking out and choosing to Uber the hour drive to our hotel and waste the money because we had a wedding to get to. Truly one of the worst experiences ever. Pros:Nothing. Dumped Payless rental retrieval of rental car to Avis center where the lines were horrendous. Waited for more than an hour long to get a car instead of full size SUV for which I paid for. Most horrible rental car experience!Reviewed 12 Jul. 2020

Pros:The Budget car rental staff and policy are the worst I have ever dealt with. Especially Kayak. HOW CAN YOU LET A DRIVER RESERVE A VEHICLE THAT YOU MUST BE 25 TO RESERVE AND THEN CANCEL FOR A FEE. WITH NO AGE VERIFICATION. Pros:Drop off was easy, I'll give them that. But honestly, that was about it. Skip to "what could have been better for the rest of the story"Cons:Waited nearly an hour to pick the car up. One desk clerk checking in a line of people out the door. Cars weren't ready for customers, had to keep waiting for them to "find" cars from Avis (their parent company) to give to the folks in line in front of me.
