We wanted a fuel efficient sedan. Instead we got a ridiculously huge gas guzzler of an SUV that left us with a huge gas bill and was next to impossible to maneuver around the city, especially parallel parking.Reviewed 14 Sep 2024

I had a reservation for a 15 passenger van for a bachelorette trip on September 5th-9th at your VPS airport location. When we arrived we were given keys to a minivan not realizing until we went to the vehicle that it was not what we originally reserved. We went back to speak with your representative and was told that the van we reserved was in maintenance and was not available. The representative did offer to void our reservation but left 10 people with their luggage stranded without offering another vehicle or maybe offering 2 vehicles for us to be able to continue our trip. We had to scramble to find new transportation and it put a damper on the start of our trip. It was a horrible experience with your company. We ended up having to pay double the money with another company in order to proceed. I WOULD NOT RECOMMENDReviewed 12 Sep 2024

Check in was understaffed and the car was much smaller than the 5 person 3 bag on the website. It took a while (3 hours) but they did end up providing a larger car for the same price.Reviewed 8 Sep 2024

There was no Dollar store within 50 miles of the pickup location. I called customer support, and the only thing they offered to do was cancel my reservation. I was left stranded in a parking lot on a Friday evening of a holiday weekend.Reviewed 6 Sep 2024

Made advance reservation weeks ahead of time and pre paid. Arrived at the airport and I was informed that dollar and hertz did not hold any cars for me even though I had made the reservation confirmed it 24 hours ahead as requested. I am now having to waste my time to try to get reimbursement for the poor service and terrible business practices. I will never rent from dollar ever again.Reviewed 3 Sep 2024

The insurance situation was absurd. In order to decline their coverage they wanted a 5000 euro deposit and printed paperwork showing you had coverage through some other vendor. The person at the counter acknowledged that our credit card likely provided insurance but was not interested in discussing further. We were just shooed away when we tried to ask questions. This information needs to be clearly explained ahead of time, not on a random cardboard cutout on the desk at time of pickup. Instead you are forced to pay for overpriced third party insurance you don't need.Reviewed 3 Sep 2024

Did not get care because they changed the terms of pickup and wanted to downgrade to a smaller car. They do not take debit, which is the closest thing to cash. Wil not even call them. Staff is not courteous and act like you are a bother. Look elsewhere, everyone else is just as affordable.Reviewed 3 Sep 2024
