Well placed for Herculaneum ruins site. Helpful Henrico helped us sort our packing and luggage . Breakfast was splendid with freshly squeezed sorrento orange juice
Facilities are clean and modern, room is small, but that is usual in much of Europe. Location is fantastic-right opposite the Herculaneum and close to the train station. Breakfast was lovely, and the ladies serving breakfast were just so helpful and cheerful. I requested gluten free, and they catered beautifully. Bed was a little firm for my liking, but ok.
The minibar was incomplete, we had a little outdoor table, but only 1 beer to enjoy between us (and no bottle opener). I would like to see a bottle of water each in our room daily or access to a central water bubbler that I could fill my drink bottle up from as I would get back from touring thirsty, and have to go out again just to get a drink. The restaurant was under staffed and had an inexperienced waiter on that couldn't handle servicing 4 tables. She got very flustered. There was an altercation from another table and they walked out. We were patient and kind and everything was fine. The food was good, but not great.
I stayed there with my two sons and we all liked it there very much. Staff of the hotel was very nice and friendly. The hotel is located right next to the entrance of the Hercunaleum ruins so it was easy to walk between ruins and hotel. Special thanks to the kitchen of very tasty breakfast. Will go there again some day!
Great location for Herculaneum. Easy to get to the train station for visits to Naples. Really clean hotel and very nice staff. Good family rooms.
This B&B met our needs perfectly. We were staying one night in Ercolano, to allow us to visit Herculaneum in the morning before traveling further south in Italy. We chose the hotel because it was right across the road from the entrance to Herculaneum and they had secured parking nearby. This was really useful for our use. We arrived late in the evening and we were quickly checked in and taken to our room. As it was late at night we were given details of the parking location and this was straight forward. We were also given the details of a couple of local restaurants and we had a very good late night pizza almost across the road. The room in the B&B is accessed through a corridor on the first floor. The room was functional, clean and had a good bathroom. We slept well and had a good breakfast in the lovely room on the first floor before heading to see Herculaneum. We were able to leave our car in the hotel car park while we visited the site which was really helpful. A perfect spot for an overnight to Herculaneum.
A stay at Ruins B&B places you in the heart of Ercolano, steps from Herculaneum and Museo Archeologico Virtuale. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a train station pick-up service.
