Despite bringing evidence of insurance coverage from my credit card, they would not honor the rental. I called my US Mastercard and they confirmed I had insurance coverage. They would not accept it and wanted me to pay €60+ a day for coverage. I had rented from both National and Alamo in the prior week for 2 different trips and I had no issues. STAY AWAY!!! The car was advertised with unlimited miles when booking. At the rental station they said that they have their own policy and only allow 200km/day. Even after opening a claim that was not changed. Additionally, very slow pickup process and every person that was with me at the rental station in Calgary had either issues with the KM, out of province policy or insurance policy. You charged me although I had cancelled the reservation two minutes after booking it. This is a scam. You advertise really low prices, then I want to take the insurance, then you refuse to sell it to me. Then I cancel. Then I receive a charge on my credit card. This is a pure scam.Reviewed 6 Sep 2024

Was given a diesel car which we don’t want. It was filthy and we had to ask them to wash it before leaving. The price was more than what Experian quoted. It took nearly an hour to find where to return the rental car in Hamburg. They never answered their phones. Will not do business with this firm in the future.Reviewed 6 Sep 2024

Excellent car, great rate, easy pickup but very difficult to contact. We tried to contact them to extend the hire period. From 10 to 12 days. First 2x by phone, a wait of approx 18 min and another wait of 30 minutes, no answer. So we sent a message to the email address on the contract. After not receiving a response for 3 days we emailed again. This time we were copied when H/O forwarded this email to the branch. We have still not heard back a day after the original return date. Hoping it will all work out and they won’t gouge us on the price when we return the car tomorrow.Reviewed 3 Sep 2024
