The reservation was handled through Hertz representative at Florence, Italy airport (Dollar was closed?). I was not given any telephone contacts if I needed roadside assistance or other problems with the rental. I had an issue with a tire pressure indicator and the car manual was in Italian. It was stressful driving late evening with no contact information to interpret the seriousness of the issue. After a long delay, a YouTube video helped resolve the situation. Felt isolated in foreign land.

This was one of the easiest and most pleasant car rental I've ever had. And I've had hundreds in the US. The first car we drove away was a manual transmission. When we got to our destination, we discovered that we had very steep hills and hairpin turns to navigate. And it was raining. Drivalia allowed us to exchange cars and sent us happily on our way. The 2nd car was Kia and fantastic. The drop off couldn't have been simpler either...just drop the keys and go!

We ended up having to switch to a larger vehicle and after all was said and done, and signed, we drove off with a BMW iX xDrive 40. Very spacious, trunk space was on the smaller average. Overall, it was a very comfrotable drive, and having carplay/android auto, it was super easy to setup and get going. The Sixt Firenze office was easy to get to from Santa Maria Novella station. The team at sixt were very nice and had us on the road in no time. I would definitely rent from Sixt Firenze again.

our flight was cancelled. We could not contact them. Avis took the opportunity the next day to charge ridiculous rates for the smallest vehicles. We went to another provider and were provided with the requested size at near the earlier quoted rate. I will not use a third party provider again. If not direct avis does not care.

Pickup in Florence was excellent, I had a very helpful service person who helped me decide which car to take. Ended up with a brand new car with only 8 km on it (we then put a problem free 1400 km on it over the next 10 days). Dropping off the car in Munich was confusing, there was no instructions about where to park or that I was to use a key drop box. I just saw an Avis sign on a parking garage so I left it in that garage and stumbled across a non-descript drop box while wondering around for a service counter. Searched my email and re-read the rental contracts to see if that was what I was supposed to do or not, but found no additional information.

Do not believe that the car model you reserve is what you will get (or even close). Reserved an Audi A4 or similar and got a significantly older model of car and was told we’d have to pay even more to get another car. Make sure to review your bill as the staff try to add all these extra charges if they think you won’t notice. I would absolutely not recommend booking from Budget

Drop off at the Rome Airport was excellent. Pick up in Florence was exact opposite. RentalPlus does not use the same place as all other rental companies. Their telephone number went to an answering number. The Rental Plus office was run by 2 people who were also operating 2 other rental agencies. It took about an hour from the time we arrived at the office until we got our car. I had to use a Road Side Assistance. It took over 2 hours to reach them. After that things went well, except the car was towed to the next town. Rental Plus would not help me get to the garage so I had to spend 50 euros to take a taxi.

We arrived to confusion over the shuttle pickup. The directions were outdated. The agent even argued with us when we met her. She wanted to charge us an international drivers license fee. We did not have to do this when using a renal car in Amsterdam. The whole experience turned us off and we cancelled. We rented from Hertz the next day and it was much better from start to finish. .

They are a cut rate car rental company that operates and feel like a scam. Address is wrong, phone number is wrong, office is a pop up. They demand a HUGE deposit that is never mentioned in the prior rental agreement and claim to need 20-30 DAYS to return it. Everything is hand written on paper and it all just feels off.

It was a terrible experience, and they did not give me the car. I went to the counter and showed my reservation, my driver's license, and my international driver's license, and they told me that they could not accept my international driver's license without giving me any explanation.
