10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just perfect! Nathalie and Cyril were such welcoming and friendly hosts and took really good care of us. Very spacious room with privacy, the beds were very comfortable. The accommodation was beautifully decorated, with a lot of taste. The room was very clean. The garden was amazing! Every corner of the property was a sight. Breakfast was delicious. Had a fantastic stay! Can’t find anything to pick on. Highly recommended!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful environment with a large garden, lovely pin trees and pool. I enjoyed the configuration of the mazets, very private. Only a few KMs away from St-Remy. Hosts were super friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay again at this property.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just wonderful, hard to find any minus/negatives, only that we could not stay longer and that water in the swimming pool was colder due to "mistral";) But to name few things we really enjoyed: quiet and nice rooms, own terrace, superb breakfast but first of all super nice staff. In reality the place was much more nice than on photos.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a nice sets of indipendent houses (8, if I am not wrong) in a green "garden" with trees: the garden is well maintained. Staff is very friendly and welcoming and even if their english knowledge is limited they try to make you feel at home and understand your needs. The staff speaks french but the wife of the owner also speaks a bit of english and italian. They also have a good knowledge of the surronding and they will direct you to see the nearby cities. Our room was cleanly daily in a perfect way. The way you need to follow to get to the reception is filled with small pebbles so even if it raining there are no problems in reaching your car or the reception. The free parking area inside the compound is a welcome extra that I found really pleasant.
Cons: The location is a bit far away from the main route area and the city center: you definitely need a car (or a motorbike) if you are staying in this place. There are no attraction close to the hotel. Breakfast was fine but I still find it a bit expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting, the breakfast the family who rund the place, everything was just perfect!
Cons: Nothing could’ve been better
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything - from location to facilities, but particularly the flexibility of the maisonette with its excellent kitchen. Pool was great too.
Cons: the incessant noise of the cicadas but nothing can be done about that!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Taxi service. Very difficult to explore the area if you didn’t rent a car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful, relaxing, quiet, great breakfast, warm hosts, spotlessly clean, comfortable room, beautiful gardens, lovely pool. The hosts had great local knowledge and we wouldn’t have had the experience that we had without their guidance. Perfect stay and can’t wait to go back!
Cons: Nothing, all perfect.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely stay, the room was clean and well laid out and the aircon was a blessing! Breakfasts were excellent and relaxed. The pool was ideal, part shaded and always clean. Overall a great experience!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We choose that B&B short notice, because we have been there 2 years ago. Quite, petit, hugh garden, high level of privacy, everything you need for selfservice you will find in the garden kitchen if you book a room. This time we booked an apartment, stylish, full / well equipped kitchenette with Microwave, Sanseo... We had our Nespresso...so perfect
Cons: Next time I would appreciate that the towels will be changed after 3 or 4 nights.

Cons: What’s not to like. We were welcomed like family.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The team at Domaine de L'Enclos were wonderful. We were in the are for cycling and they set up a secure area for us to store our bikes and bike bags. The morning breakfast was top notch, fueling us perfectly for a day of riding and the pool was a great treat at the end of our ride. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: , beautiful and large room and bathroom, wonderful view from the window, the gardening and vicinity is exquisite, you see that they thought on every detail. the swimming pool is amazing by looking at it(didn't try), Very nice breakfast(i would love .|to have some vegetables, but apart from this- very reach and tasty ), the location was perfect, close to the village of Rousillion, great for trips at all the Luberon valey, north and south extremely nice host and stuff, very helpful and friendly
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel is in a great location, just outside Roussillon itself, well within walking distance. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed and breakfast was good. There is a very nice pool and sunbathing area.
Cons: It is a shame there are no facilities for getting drinks or snacks at the hotel during the day. And we thought it a little odd that the communal part of the hotel is closed and gated off from 8pm - it makes it feel more like B&B accommodation than a hotel.
7.9 Good
Pros: Fabulous hotel in a great location
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Space and location
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful, very nice room, good breakfast service. They allow us to use the swimming pool even after the check out. Super suggested.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good place in there!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is simply great! The rooms are spacious, super clean and the decor is very nice. Swimming pool was a great plus in those hot days. Well located close to the main center of the village as well as a very good base point to move around visiting the nice villages of Luberon. Could be enough that to give an idea about the place but not, people often make the difference and Jean Pierre was absolutely an outstanding host. Him and his family&colleagues made my holidays and I don’t have enough words to say THANK YOU!
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel is situated at less than 1km from the old town of Roussillon. In fact we used to walk this stretch of road rather than going by car. Staff is friendly and polite and speak good english. The bathroom in our room had been recently renovated and the rain shower was excellent. There was also a mini fridge which was a plus point. There is a large pool at the back of the hotel which unfortunately we did not have sufficient time to use. Towels are provided by the staff. Parking is also available on site.
Cons: Breakfast costs 13 per person per night which compared to what ia on offer is expensive. If you love confiture jams etc then this is the place for you otherwise this is a very average breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location! Easy walk into the town and lots of choice where to eat as recommended by the hotel. We are in the La Grappe de Raisin, which was delicious and a great price too. The pool at the hotel was a welcoming site after 400kms on a motorbike. Our room was so comfortable, clean and the bathroom was clean and modern. We had a ground floor with a short walk to the pool area. Breakfast, lots of choice and good coffee.
Cons: Nothing. All good.

Pros: The gardens are beautiful, and there is ample parking. The staff were also very friendly.
Cons: We did not have internet in the room when we arrived (fortunately we were moved to a room closer to reception). On one of the days there was a private party with external guests and the pool was over crowded with children, so not so relaxing and a little unpleasant.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: good breakfast, friendly host, calm, clean, swimmingpool

Pros: Clean. Beautiful and the owner was very friendly
Cons: The rooms are nice but basic. A tv or a cofee corner would be great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location. Quiet and friendly owner
Cons: Fresh orange juice would be better
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The place is really cozy, rooms are in fact bungalows built around a swimming pool and shaded by pine trees. Breakfast is delicious with home made jams and pies. The owner provides good tips for excursions and the area is lovely
Cons: nothing to be noted
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Tucked away in the pine trees of the Luberon valley, what a charming place to stay. Huge room for the price, we got a two bedroom cottage with kitchenette and patio. Very small hotel run by a very, very nice couple who live on site. The owners clearly take pride in their hotel and want you to have the best time you can, very helpful and forthcoming with recommendations for the area. We had no issue finding it with via google maps. The breakfast was typical French breakfast, tartine with butter and jams, coffee, tea and juice. The jams were homemade and different each day and every day the owner makes a fresh cake or pastry, to go along with the baguette and croissant. The room was extremely clean and well kept. Great shower. Kitchenette was well stocked with dishware and cookware. Dish soap provided, but no towel, so we used one from the bathroom. Pool seemed really nice, but it was too chilly to use when we stayed.
Cons: Cash only! This isn't a problem itself, we just didn't know and didn't have enough cash when checking out, so had to run to an ATM in town. Just be aware to have enough cash when you check out.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owner is very kind and friendly, delicious homemade breakfast, nice pool, place perfect for rest and enjoy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place with lovely hosts that knows how to give that extra sercvice several times. Wonderful breakfast. Would love to come back.

Pros: In the nature quite comfortable
Cons: It is difficult to find the place

9.2 Excellent
Pros: If you are by car, the location is perfect to visit Moustiers and the Gorges du Verdon. The room is very comfortable, clean and the breakfast delicious. The personnel really so kind. To be perfect, the room should have a frigobar, because sometimes it's useful, mainly at night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very central, good reserved hotel parking. Good wifi, comfy room, good bathroom
Cons: Restaurant lacks character, one waiter is definitely French !!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very small and very beautiful town nestled on top of gorgeous red cliffs. The hotel/restaurant is perched on one cliff and overlooking another. Spectacular! The lobby and restaurant areas were fantastic. Especially the wisteria-covered dining patio. Awesome views through the dining windows and cliff-side patio. We selected a room with a patio that overlooked the valley. How wonderful!
Cons: The tiny village is over-run with pedestrians from tourist buses during the day. (It is essential that you stay overnight to enjoy the quieter evening and morning.) I'm not a big fan of bathroom configurations in which the shower sprays water all over the room. Our beautiful, but small bathroom with tall bathtub was particularly awkward for showering.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect with tremendous views from the hotel and restaurant. Breakfast was very nice on the restaurant terrace. The hotel is right in the center of town. 4 parking spaces available .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb view of ocher valley from our room and restaurant. The dinner was best in this journey. They even found a coat left in our room and sent it to Japan. Thank you!
Cons: Almost nothing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Convenient parking. Continental breakfast. Maurine was exceptionally helpful, kind and pleasant.
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location, big rooms, nice bathroom
Cons: The bed was a bit to hard and the breakfast wasnt allowed to be eaten on the terass, which meant we couldnt enjoy the view, which was why we chose this hotel. Parking was private but a bit hard to get into
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely and central. The lady who greeted us and got us parked made all the difference.
Cons: Could use a lift to the second floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: - Beautiful hotel with large, comfortable rooms, great bathrooms, etc. - Wonderful restaurant for both the best dinner and breakfast in Roussillon with a stunning view - Friendly and helpful staff
Cons: - Parking is tricky - they have four small reserved spots on the main street in a small town, and it can fill up. - Make sure you reserve a table early for dinner in the restaurant; the outdoor seats on the balcony fill up quickly.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Central location in Roussillon. Beautiful views from some of the rooms. Very good breakfasts with freshly squeezed orange juice and plenty of fruit.
Cons: Details said there was a garden but there is not. Unless you book one of the more expensive rooms with its own terrace, there is no outside space. Not all rooms have proper showers. Some just have baths with a small shower hose for washing your hair. Our first room was like this but the staff were very obliging and moved us to a room with a shower. You need to check when you book.

Pros: Clean and nice garden, nice furniture. breakfast good but small.
Cons: Not really in the countryside but close to a loud street, no air-con in the rooms. No sunshades at the pool. Totally overpriced for what you get in terms of comfort and service/facilities. But most problematic is the unfriendly and not welcoming owners.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a charming hotel and wonderful hosts. The location is spectacular with the towns of Gordes and Roussillon nearby. There are also some lovely local restaurants should you require them. Could have stayed here for longer - will be back! The breakfasts were superb.
5.0 Okay
Pros: beautiful countryside and good location close to many villages
Cons: The wifi - or lack of reliable service was one of the disappointments. Our room did not have constant wifi access and today - tourists rely on having good access to the internet - to book restaurants, research the location, communicate with family and check in for flights. The other issue was that there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room - and no access for guests in the public areas. If guests wanted a tea or coffee they had to pay 2 euros. For a property which charges this amount - i would have expected more. Also there was no fridge in our room and we could not store any food or wine in our room - or at the property. So having a chilled glass of rose on our terrace was impossible unless we paid over 30 euro for a bottle of wine from the property. That is also not what I had expected when paying over 170 euros per night. There is a long list of rules at this location and I would suggest that children would not be welcomed.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent, we also had several times dinner at the place, with superb food preparations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was perfect to give us a taste of the Luberon. The best thing was the dinner provided by the hosts around the pool - fantastic food and beautiful setting. The hosts were also extremely helpful giving advice on villages to visit etc
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast at the pool is cool !!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole set up - husband and wife team, lovely boutique hotel with complete personal touches. Very clean, excellent location for visiting all the villages and sights in the luberon area of Provence, had both breakfast and the dinner and both were very good. Weather was exceptional and helped to know we had a lovely pool to dip into when we returned each day.
Cons: Not much could be improved given this type of property.

Owners were really helpful in suggesting restaurants in Roussillon. Lots to see in the area!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location and pool area was lovely
Cons: Too many rules regarding eating and drinking. No flexibility regarding breakfast time (not able to get a coffee before 8.30am)

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Great views of the valley and at some point in this will be a nice hotel.
Cons: Terrible service, unfinished property in many regards, trash strewn around. Lots of other issues.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean. Fresh, well laid out. Beautiful views.
Cons: This is a very remote location. For those that come to stay on the property , this is fine. We were out and about so a bit of driving
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location, amazing views, great facilities. Great front desk and staff, always ready to help!
Cons: But terrible Bistro - food and service, totally overpriced, resturant is good, but far from superb. Daily cleaning is just ok.
4.6 Okay
Pros: facilities and property
Cons: dining room food was disappointing and overly expensive considering the portion size. Despite 7:30 pm reservations, no one came to our table until 8pm We had to refill our own water and wine because without our asking for refills, staff did not routinely check to see if our glasses were empty. I had three one-inch pieces of lobster for 56 euros. For a so-called 5 star property, dining was a big disappointment.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were charming and so eager to please. And room service was almost instantaneous.
Cons: Very rarely any staff at the pool bar and on any busy days just one person was not enough. Why not install a phone at the pool bar so guests can ring in their order?
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property was so tranquil and immaculate
Cons: The bistro food was amazing but atmosphere a little clinical and not very bistro like. Also no running machine in gym but these are minor observations - I will definitely return!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional place with spectacular view. In the heart of Luberon, near to all bautiful villages
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel design, space, landscape is relaxing and beautiful. The view over the countryside is marvel.
Cons: It is not kid friendly hotel. The indoor pool only allows 2 hours of swimming times for children. I will love to come back but my family not so keen.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was perfectly designed, very spacious and clean. The breakfast is delicious, the pool is very nice
5.4 Okay
Pros: It is calm. Has a good view. The overall look of the hotel is attractive. Clean.
Cons: Poor internet, connects, disconnects, connects, disconnects. Initially WiFi did not work at all. Poor comfort in the shower (long wait to have hot water, then it is hot cold hot cold hot cold, poor water pressure in the shower), difficult to arrange for food for a three year's old child from the restaurant, extremely limited possibilities for kids to play. Difficult to drive to the hotel, very narrow roads.

Pros: Superb views, friendly service and a lovely place to be
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A fantastic location in the heart of Luberon - the most beautiful sight of Provence in terms of nature and local sights to fall in love with. Amazing views and beautiful terretory to walk around. Delicious home-made breakfast of local products. Absolutely comfortable nicely furnished rooms with all necessities and more. Quiete and calmness. It was a pleasure to meet the wonderful hosts - Nataly and Dominique, so helpful and caring. Although we were not very impressed by pictures of the facilities on booking and relied on reviews mostly, our stay was absolutely beyond expectations! With love to Provence and le Jas de Joucas!
Cons: A kettle / teapot for regular use in the room would be nice - and that's the only thing missing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Wonderfully warm welcome. Outstanding breakfasts, magical location!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good but would benefit from more variety and better quality of coffee coffee.
7.1 Good
Pros: Lovely views, gorgeous swimming pool. Very enthusiastic and chatty hostess. Great location for driving to nearby towns and villages. Generally a lovely stay.
Cons: We chose not to have breakfast at the property for an additional cost (as recommended not to on previous reviews on this site) and were therefore treated differently to other guests, not allowed to eat dinner on our terrace whereas other guests were - this seemed unfair. No restaurant on site for evening meal so had to leave each evening to eat. Cleaner bought our towels down to the breakfast area for inspection during check out - they were marked with make-up but this was embarrassing and unnecessary.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location is marvelous, beautiful views, very nice pool, airco in rooms excellent, good breakfast.
Cons: The room we were booked in was extremely small with hardly any space for our suitcases. There were not enough chairs at poolside and no umbrellas for shade.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What made it was the friendliness of the owner Nathalie and her husband, who were always happy to make sure anything we asked for was met with a smile. Lovely people who made this a great place to stay
Cons: The concrete driveway up to the Jas is bumpy in places, so take it slowly...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome, great views & pool, just a few mins drive from Joucas and Murs; shady parking area. Nice big room with luxury en-suite and walk-in shower. Really good value for money.
Cons: Only complaint was the bed in our room, not the most comfortable and the base was too big for the mattress so we both kept banging into the corner of the bedframe.
6.7 Good
Pros: The area was peaceful and the pool was good.
Cons: We were told that we could not have our own breakfast while we were there eventhough there is nothing stated in the T&C to say that we couldn’t. This should be clearly stated on their website and in the T&C.

Pros: Everything was great! We really enjoyed our stay there. Didn't use tennis facilities, but all others did. Very nice interior design. 12 euro for breakfast is not a small amount, but it is worth it. Variety of products is great! No vegetables, but this is something you need to use for in France in general. You receive for free the parking ticket for the parking in Roussilon, the closest one to the village. You can use it many times.
Cons: Personnaly, I didn't like the fact that there was no door in bathroom which maked me feel a bit uncomfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The property was beautiful, it included a tennis court and a pool. The location was very close to the main town. The additional breakfast was delicious. Nadine, one of the owners checked us in and she was absolutely delightful and kind. The room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

Pros: Our room was comfortable and we had a patio facing the garden. The pool was a welcome sight in the hot days of early July after a long day of sightseeing.
4.7 Okay
Pros: The restaurant was pretty good. The pool and grounds were nice. There were two very nice dogs that greeted the guests.
Cons: The first room I was given had no windows. Had to pay extra for a room with glass doors to let in the light. The staff spoke no English. About a mile walk to town.

Pros: The room was spacious, decorated in a rustic style. The bed was comfort. The bathroom was adequate. Convenient parking.
Cons: Breakfast was tasty but limited selection.
6.7 Good
Pros: Great quiet place and wonderful village.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Located just outside the beautiful village of Roussillon, La Petite Auberge is a tranquil haven and is as comfortable and welcoming as staying at home, or with good friends. Beautiful gardens to enjoy, great swimming pool and fabulous food - breakfasts better than anywhere else I've stayed and the half board option is great value.
4.7 Okay
Pros: The location and parking arrangement works well if you have a car. The rooms are large, but very sparsely furnished. The location is very quiet.
Cons: Hard beds; only one very small (and previously used) soap; cheap pillows; no extra pillows; very sparse furnishings; not the kind of place you'd want to spend a rainy day.

Overview Reviews

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to major attractions like Gordes and Senanque abbey but away from the crowds. The village is small, quiet and beautiful and the restaurant was excellent. We also really enjoyed the option of using the pool which was situated a few minute drive away, perfect after a busy and hot day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The central location next to the town square in the village. The beautiful swimming pool and relaxationarea just outside the village overlooking vineyards and olive orchards. The fine food and wine with live French music during dinner in the outdoor terrace. The sumptuous breakfast served by the owner and her son, so warm, friendly and helpful. Superb.
Cons: There was nothing we did not like!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff :) plus the gorgeous Vincent speaks good English ! Attached Bistrot is well worth eating at - fabulous ambience & delicious food, especially the oyster main & the ‘to die for’ chocolate fondant dessert
Cons: If you want an early sleep ask for a room away from the Bistrot. We had a room with a terrace which was spacious, with superb decor ! Also ask for lower floor if you don’t like stairs!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a welcoming bistro with rooms in a lovely old village. Although we had to wait until 6pm to check in, it was OK because we knew that in advance and the weather was fine (we were on foot). We had a beautiful bedroom, in true French style, and the meal in the bistro was excellent. The bistro decor is warm and attractive, and the staff were all very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was also very good indeed; even though we were the only people staying, a full range of breakfast items was offered - and super quality.
Cons: The only thing we were sorry about was that we had to deal with several 'silverfish' in the bath (only tiny ones but not nice even so). Then we found that water would not drain from the bath, and had to remove an amount of long hair from the plug. I think there was probably more in the pipe but couldn't reach it. So it's only a cleaning issue. Everything else was super.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice rooms, the swimming pool is a plus after a long summer day. They also have a good restaurant in the building.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room and restaurant, but sincerely everything was good!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Room was good. Breakfast had plenty of cold varieties.
Cons: Bar facilities as an extra to the restaurant. The steak specials were excessive (could only order a minimum of 1kg per portion).
7.9 Good
Pros: Very calm location with neat and clean room. Staffs are very good.
Cons: WiFi not able to access from the room. Its only available in the bottom like reception and restaurant. I was staying in 2nd floor without wifi network for 2 days.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: - clean accommodation - great location - large and comfortable bedrooms - very charming and welcoming - great value for money - excellent bistro on site - great quality food
Cons: - service in restaurant - far too busy - had to wait 1 hour for our table, after confirmed reservation - overpriced food - small portions, high prices
5.0 Okay
Pros: The rooms were fine.........by the way the rest of the staff were pleasant and helpful.
Cons: The sheer arrogance of the proprietor is beyond belief. This person should diffidently NOT be in the hospitality industry. Took absolutely no notice of all in the dinning area as he was self indulging in the the soccer and at times swing from overhead rails like an Orangutan. This is not just my observation as it was confirmed by those that live in the village.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great room. Comfortable bed and with working air conditioning, which was needed in the heat. There are not too many rooms, so the property is not busy. There are 3 pools in the place, all with a different style.
Cons: Joucas is a very quiet town, not much to do there. Need to drive around to see the more interesting spots. Breakfast was 30 EUR a person, which for a 5 Star is ‘normal’ but the selection was limited and not really value for money. Also, careful to ask for any person print outs as the hotel charges for this.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous location, lovely pool, wonderful staff, fabulous restaurant, nice spa. Really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Room was ok, door to room didn’t close properly. Bathroom was ok not great. Jacuzzi filter needed cleaning. Service for breakfast and lunch a little slow at times. 15 mins for a coffee at breakfast!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel, location, staff and service. Could not fault.
Cons: Not Applicable
6.7 Good
Pros: Fast check in and check out. Situation. Calm and relax, calm people at hotel. Champagne at room invitation. No 100% privacy pool at room terrace.
Cons: Cancellation uniteraly of first night, they send me to another hotel and I do not receive any apologize from managers. Breakfast buffet to far from tables. Old rooms has to be refurnished. No wifi at pool. Not friendly Actitude of “Anthony” at breakfast. Pool Reclycling system of room behind was broken and too much noisy was heard. Not 100% insonoration at room. Entering by car after 21:00 pm is taking waiting time.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beds and bedding very comfortable Michelin starred restaurant was excellent
Cons: Not a great value, food was very expensive. Property is tired and could use an interior update especially for the rates they are charging.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Was a fabulous quiet location The food was the best I have eaten in years and all the staff were amazing. Can not fault it
Cons: None
7.1 Good
Pros: The area
Cons: The cost of the cheese
7.1 Good
Pros: The breakfast was way overpriced starting at 30 euros. Coffee was 8 euros a cup......The room size was was grand the bathroom even grander and the bed was comfortable
Cons: It seem as though the property on the outskirts was not maintained with weeds junk, etc. It appeared at one time to be a grand property, but the upkeep on the property surounding the property has been overlooked. Pool area nice and outdoor cafe around the pool was nice but the area around this area was overlooked with dead grass and weeds. Old and tatered outdoor furniture that needed to be removed. It took away from the grandness of the property.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Service was very slow, especially at the pool restaurant
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lunch on the terrasse restaurant very good. View from room lovely. Service great. Beautiful area. Good location between Gordes and Roussilon.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay at Le Mas De La Tannerie was fantastic! We felt so welcome and well looked after, and the property and view was amazing. Our breakfast and lunch platter were some of the best food we’ve had on our trip, we couldn’t recommend it more!!!
2.9 Mediocre
Cons: Our experience here was very poor to say the least. The biggest red flags that should steer anyone clear from this property include a racist owner who verbally assaulted us, an unprofessional operation lacking staff and basic hotel services such as access to waste bins, room cleaning, general assistance, and a laundry list of unspoken “rules” and expectations that are not communicated to you beforehand. When you break any of these surprise “rules” you will then be scolded like a child, and subjected to belligerent diatribes, locked out of community areas, and denied basic hotel requests such as the need for an additional towel, ice, etc. In addition, there was no access to Wi-Fi, even though it’s advertised as an amenity on their booking site. The antagonistic temperment of the owner, however, was completely unacceptable, and quite frankly appalling. You will notice some themes in other travelers’ reviews, which we experienced as well: a confrontational host exhibiting verbal aggression, pettiness, “rules” made up on the spot, and punishment doled out for not following these “rules.” Guests generally feel unwelcome and uncomfortable when confronted with her uncontrollable temper, and ultimately (not surprisingly) disappointed in their stay. I agree wholeheartedly with the other travelers’ experiences, and wished I had taken the time to do more research before booking our stay here. The uncomfortable feelings aside, by far the most upsetting part of our stay was the racism exhibited by the owner. She referred to my partner an "uneducated European" dozens of times during our stay because he is Turkish. (For example, when we told her her we weren’t aware her policy of no outside food and beverages- including bottled water in the privacy of your own room- she condescendingly responded, “Educated Europeans are aware of these things.” For the record, my partner has a PhD in economics.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gordes itself was smaller than I had expected. We probably only needed to stay one night in this location. Facilities were great, however room was inside the main house upstairs. Breakfast was lovely as too are the Hosts. House is decked out beautifully. More suited to couples.
Cons: Pool wasn't heated which was a shame for kids as it was too cold for them. We were upstairs in the main house. We would have preferred a separate location to main house given we were travelling with kids. Felt the upstairs room was dark, had a view but only if you bent down while you were on the balcony. They do however provide lovely facilities and superb breakfast. More suited to couples than family. Lovely hosts.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful hosts. Comfortable well designed bedroom. Good breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A truly phenomenal establishment - unbelievably charming and relaxing. High quality, stunning scenery and home decor. Reminds you of being home, and the owners are two fantastically charismatic and welcoming hosts.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting! Artistic decor! Hanne and Gilles were incredible hosts! Activities available. Easy walk into Gordes. Delicious dinner on site, prepared by Hanne! Wonderful breakfast!
Cons: It would have been a bonus, if the beautiful pool had been warm! (too late in the season!)

Pros: This hotel is located on a beautiful area, in the middle of Provence! I just loved to stay here. The brekfast is delicious and served outside, on the terrace which is so calm and peaceful! Love to spend the morning on this terrace! The stuff is really kind!
Cons: It is a bit pricey for the equipment which is in the rooms. There is no phone signal but as this is a place for relax I’m okay with that.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good location, excelent restaurant, nice pool area
Cons: You have to be ready that your booking could be changed or calcelled. We booked 3 rooms several month before our trip. Several days before our arrival we got message that hotel does not have 3 rooms. We have to rebook our stay and find another hotel for 1 night when the Carcarille did not had 3 rooms available. Very bad communication. Hotel just sent us a message that our booked rooms are not available, but did not answer to our messages.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our experience at this auberge. It was only 2km out for Gordes but it felt like we were way out in the country. We were greeted by a friendly lady who was patient with my high school French and even gave me some words I couldn’t remember. The room had a foyer with a bath on the right and toilet on the left. We could close a door between this area and the room to minimize the noise from the washroom and the outside hall. The decor was dated (which I usually don’t like) but it was extremely clean and comfortable and the whole experience completely made up for it. The restaurant was amazing! It also had a lovely outdoor terrace. The pool area and grounds were nice. If you are looking for modern luxury, this is not the place for you, but if you would like an authentic experience of the south of France, take advantage of this little
7.9 Good
Pros: Lovely hotel, beautiful area
Cons: We had booked a premium room and were given a standard room, which was really small. We were told it was very in convenient to change that night and the following day we were shown a better room after persuing the matter and told it caused a lot of trouble as the room would have to be re cleaned. We were made to feel a great nuisance.

Pros: Food and location

Pros: Excellent restaurant for dinner. It was too cold to sit outside this time of year but the terrace looks fabulous so we look forward to returning in warmer weather. Easy to find location and a great base to discover the region.

Pros: Beautiful room. Lovely decor. Tranquil atmosphere. Very helpful owner. All in all an extremely relaxing stay. We would highly recommend.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Frederick, the host , makes you feel very welcome and the accommodation is excellent. The pool and gardens are lovely and the free refreshments were very welcome in the heat of summer.
Cons: The room is ‘refreshed ‘ from underfloor cooling and whilst I found this adequate , my wife found that it was not as efficient as direct air conditioning. However Frederick makes this very clear in all communications and this is a personal view , made worse by the extreme summer heat wave.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: nice property
Cons: nothing

Pros: We’ve stayed here three times now we like it so much!! Gorgeously appointed rooms and pool area
Cons: In an ideal world pool area could do with an outside shower and changing cubicle/ WC but first world problems!!

Pros: Perfect location to explore the Luberon Les Terrasses is very comfortable and well appointed. Frédéric was a great host and very helpful with local knowledge.
Cons: Nothing
6.3 Good
Pros: The setting and the area nearby.
Cons: Hotel were the customer has to keep the owner's timetable, not the opposite as usual ! Too early check-out (11H !!!) and too late check-in (16H); also no place to shower if keeping longer in pool area on check-out day. Bread and croissants, absolutely horrible...and more compared with the available excellent french bread and paistries in any nearby "boulangerie". Vulgar american coffee; no cappucino.
