Pros:

Staff was very friendly. Car was in great condition and clean.

Cons:

I had a late night flight and the had to walk a ways into the poorly lit parking lot to get my rental car once it was rented. Maybe have the cars moved closer to the terminal especially for late night arrivals.

After a long day of travel, the customer service was top notch, and took all of 10 minutes. I had my car faster than I had my luggage :) The vehicle was clean, and for the first time ever when renting a car, it did not smell like cigarettes.

Pros:

Great staff and they worked with me regarding a breakdown problem.

Cons:

Car broke down on highway at 50 miles. Difficult to get hertz to call back and bring a replacement car. It took 3 hours to get the replacement car. Hertz however gave me a 50% refund for the inconvenience.

Staff member at Great Falls Budget counter was rude and disrespectful. First car broke down on freeway only 19 miles from airport. . Roadside assistance was good but exchange service back at airport was terrible. Again I was treated by same rude employee making me feel like problem was my fault. Employee made me initial paper taking vehicle as is. . Replacement car was dirty, smelled of cigarette smoke, and the tire pressure and change oil lights came on during the trip. I had tires checked and filled to correct PSI during trip. My elderly mother who has COPD had to breathe in the smoke smell our entire trip. While initial Kayak reservation experience was great, the Budget was not. As a result I will not use Budget again.
