Good food with amazing onsen experience.
Should have more connencting shuttle buses from hotel and Hakone Yumoto.
Food was great.
Fantastic view at room and outdoor onsen.
Dinner meal can be better.
The service was second to none. The rooms were huge and we had a nice view of Mt Fuji from our large wall to wall window. The onsen was nice. They have a private one for hotel guests only. You can also use public bath. We didn’t use the public bath but I think the views from that one are supposed to be amazing. The dinners are at 7 courses and the breakfasts are large. I wasn’t a big fan of the very traditional Japanese food but it’s part of the experience to try everything they bring you.
The hotel is well maintained but old and the rooms have an old smell to it. I enjoyed my stay and won’t forget my experiences there but for the price, I’m unlikely to stay there again. 2 nights for 2 was the price of an airplane ticket to Japan!
On a clear day, good Mt Fuji view in my room & the public hotspring.
Set Japanese dinner portions are a little bit small. There’s no ice vending machine in the hotel like most other Japanese hotels & need to pay Jpy 600 for ice cubes to be sent to the room.
