The rooms smelt as if someone had been smoking, and we were unable to order any food until after 6, not very convenient as we were going to a family party for 6.30.
The breakfast was lovely; the bacon and the toast in particular. The room had just the right temperature. The bathroom had everything I needed.
The only issue was really just the WiFi. The hotel said it was accessible from anywhere in the hotel, but over the two days, I had a lot of trouble getting it on my phone and laptop. While the rest of the hotel was lovely, and I cannot speak highly enough of it, this provided a great inconvenience.
Good choice for breakfast and location ideal for our purpose
Size of the room was ok.
Breakfast was poor and car park is not too obvious to find. Mattress was way too firm and area is not the nicest :/
Clean and comfortable.
The reception/ bar staff had to double up on duties. The bar ran out of beer. We had to wait 15 minutes for someone to changed a gas bottle which supplied all pumps and then to find the beer we wanted was not available because they had ran out. Bar food was OK and arrived in good time.
