Nice touches in the room, lots of comforts and well designed decor to make our stay homely.
We parked up on the premises safely, later arrivals probably couldn't so maybe an issue for some? Did not detract from our experience.
Wonderful friendly attentive staff, beautiful property with comfy rooms
There is nothing to dislike about this wonderful house which has been renovated with real imagination, and the glorious gardens make the whole place seem very peaceful. The bathrooms are beautiful and the beds super-comfortable. The wide-ranging breakfast menu has lots of healthy options and there is locally produced bread. Very helpful, friendly owners and staff.
There is nothing to dislike about this hotel, but those with limited mobility should be aware that many of the rooms are up quite steep stairs and there is no lift.
Lovely B & B in Hastings old town area. Lovely well maintained property, beautifully decorated throughout, including a restful bedroom with a lovely garden view. Great treats in the room including sweets, shortbread and brownies, plus ground coffee, and breakfast was absolutely delicious with lots of local produce and home-made bread. Highly recommended!
Although the locally made bathroom products were great we would have liked some hair conditioner and body lotion added in as we expected these (standard in most places now) so didn’t take our own
The treatments, breakfast, hosts
I liked everything, but I missed having a bath/jacuzzi to relax after the treatments.
