I made the reservation, got a confirmation number and went to the Hertz rental point to pick-up my rental only to be told they had no cars. My confirmation number meant nothing I was informed as the national internet rental service had no knowledge of what, if any vehicles, were available. So as customers showed up to pick-up their vehicles, the rental office team had the "pleasant" task of informing renters that their arrangements were useless because they had no vehicles to rent them. Needless to say, I will never attempt to rent from Hertz again. Customer lost.Reviewed 17 Sep. 2022

This was a truly horrible experience! I reserved this rental van months ago to get a call 3 days before we leave for vacation saying there are no vans available! I paid for the booking and the website allowed me to do so. The young lady that called me was less than helpful and not very friendly. I then called to billing number to be told "We will waive the cancelation fee this time since you are outside of your cancelation period.". EXCUSE ME! I did not cancel, yall canceled my rental then seemingly are upset that I called for my $837.25 back! I will no longer be doing any business with Hertz. It is not the fact that there was no rental van available, it's the way this entire situation was handled! Luckily my traveling partners were able to make travel accommodations or else we would have been out thousands due to not being able to make it to our destination! The girl in Lafayette where I rented the car was extremely nice. The Hertz people in Nashvlle when dropping the car off were extremely RUDE. The car was ok not super comfortable but ok. The rAtes are outrageous. Also, I paI’d ahead for the car with a major credit card. You guy putting another $200 hold on my acct for days is unacceptable. I had already paid for the car. Ridiculous and I don’t like being told that AFTER I’ve already rented the car. I have insurance. No reason to do that.Reviewed 8 Nov. 2021

needed to rent a car and only availability was a cargo van. Since there was only two people and no other choice we took it. Was given the oldest van on the lot. It was uncomfortable but managed the job. The drop off location given to us by Hertz in Dallas did not accept cargo vans so they sent us to another location 30 minutes away. Off course this one closes early so we left the van and keys in night drop box. No word on whether it was checked in the next day or not.Reviewed 7 Sep. 2021

Pros:NothingCons:They are scam artist behind the counter at LFT. They literally had the audacity to try to charge me for a broken windshield that I did not break. They have no cameras around the rental car area yet claimed it was my fault. Absolute trash employees and trash company, I will never rent from hertz ever again.Reviewed 27 May 2021

Pros:NothingCons:The vehicle being available. Pickup location said the vehicle wasn’t available and that the online reservation doesn’t care if anything is available that they get paid no matter what.
