All You Can Eat Breakfast buffet for $9.95 is cheaper than ordering ala carte even at any nearby eateries. i love fried rice for brekky. Way Cheaper than Alamoana Hotel that is connected to Alamoana Center, Pagoda is only three blocks to Alamoana Center, but half a block to Walmart, Sam’s Club and Don Quixote. We chose Pagoda because it is near shopping, eateries and $2.50 The Bus all across island.
For the very cheap price, you adjust your comfort for the steal of a deal. Nothing you could have done better except lower price even more.
Friendly Staff, Clean Room.
pool closed, dvd machine broken, had to wear earplugs because of noisy A/C unit. Parking is confusing and hard.
Good for the money
OK. This is for the traveler/family on a budget. We had to unexpectedly stay in Honolulu for an extra day and we were able to get a room for about $130/night. They gave out fish food to feed the Koi. The kids and adults liked that. Small store in the lobby that sold water that didn't cost an arm and a leg. They had a kiosk where you could check out movies (for free). Had to use the card key to operate the elevator. I liked that extra measure of security.
The door was incredibly heavy. If my daughter was in the room alone and a fire broke out, she would have been toast. The bathtub was in terrible shape. Not in the greatest area, but we never felt scared. Not very much on site parking for free, but a parking structure across the street. The rooms and decor are from the 70's. This is not a 5 star hotel, but very acceptable. If you want to be in downtown Honolulu and are a budget-this is a very reasonable option.
ok stay
great location, friendly customer service, ample parking (for $10), wifi included in room, free movie during stay, two refrigerators, great water pressure, beds were comfy- not super hard, but not stiff, there's hot water! :)
the air conditioner leaked in the room, the stove was great- 2 coil burners, but there was not that much room to put a dish dryer/strainer, the shower head is out of the wall and rusty, the drain in the shower took a long time to drain water.
the room was ok.
difficulty checking in. Mom paid for room using her credit card, and hotel staff insisted that I give them the card, which I did not have on me. Very frustrating. We were about to leave, when the manager relented. Totally unnecessary. Ruined our evening.
The staff were very friendly. Loved its location, everything was walking distance. And that the room had a lot of conveniences like the coffee maker, toaster, microwave and fridge.
That the Wifi wasn't free. Would have been nice if it was included with the room.
It was a cheap place to sleep for the night.
That place needs to be renovated.
When I arrived there, the front told me the hotel records did not show my data and kept me waiting for mre than an hour. It is badically local only hotel and tourist shall avoid it.
Beautiful restaurant and Koi Pond.
The room was old looking (not modern at all).
They upgraded our room T no extra charge
The first room was absolutely discusting. The carpet was filthy and torn throughout the room. The walls were smeared with grime from hands, heads, and who knows what else. The dishes were dirty. The curtins were torn. My kids refused to sit o. The furniture. The elevator was filthy/ gross. It was by far the worse place had ever stayed in!!!!!
It is in a convenient location for shopping. That there is a restaurant for all meals.
We did not like the late checkin expecially when we came from an outer island. I missed being able to choose a breakfast meal from a menu.
there was nothing nice to report
the rooms were dirty. our accomadations were for 1 queen bed and we ended up with 4 singles..they did nothing to rectify this.
The hotel excellent hospitality and location is so closed to walk to shopping centers and fine restaurants.
No complaint.
Room was clean and bright. Age of hotel shows but that is compensated by a reasonable price. Pagoda restaurant next door gives 25% discount with stay. Very local-favorite. Worth the visit!
No complaints!
number of beds, location, full size refrigerator
kitchen closed first 2 days and water shut off several hours one day.
Fair walking distance from the hotel to Waikiki beach
There ware roaches in my hotel room n some of the lobby staff are rude!!
attitude of staff at reception , very inviting
I called to see if there was internet service and was told yes. However, it cost to connect. Also, the AC was very very loud
The staff is so friendly and helpful
