7.0 Good
Pros: Clean and comfy rooms, a little dated in terms of decor.
Cons: Food very average and quite pricy. Quite a few menu items not available.
7.0 Good
Cons: Wasnt told that the Leisure centre would be closed. But otherwise very good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved my time here will definitely b back
7.1 Good
Pros: The facilities were great but I did choose not to use them this trip because of COVID-19. The front desk staff were all very helpful and professional.
Cons: The fact that I had to ask a member of the cleaning staff to actually clean the room. You would have had to have been blind not to see that the carpet needed vacuuming. Also, the bed was not made up; the cover was just tossed over and tucked in! I pretty much left it that way when I left the room that morning. I left the towels hanging up for reuse, but they replaced them all anyway. What is the point of the environmental signs if the staff ignores them? In short, in this time of viruses, etc... running amok, you would think that the rooms were given an “actual” cleaning. Quite disappointed.

1.0 Poor
Pros: The bed was comfy and at least that was clean and it was a large room. *(Cold at first but quickly warmed up)
Cons: Dont go simple as that. The noise was crazy ridiculous. I had called booking.com to cancel within hours of arriving. My room was directly of the bar and it has zero sound proofing. Good luck anyone trying to get to sleep before closing time. The bathroom was covered in mold.. the tiles... even the walls! Everything creaks when you walk across a room A ridiculous 15 inch tv One light bulb was blown One actual lamp was blown and the other blew when I turned the kettle on! The socket on their extension cable 3rd along blew! There is only one socket you can use so no laptop unless you bring your own extension cable. The tap didnt work so couldn't wash your hands with a hot cold water mix. The toilet seat fell off! It's a small local village pub nothing around there. Muddy car park. I swapped my knife at the table for another as it had food still stuck to it.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is arguably the best B & B I have ever stayed at. The room was really lovely and big. The bed was nice and comfortable, the best sleep I have had for a long time. The bathroom was massive and had both bath and separate shower. Breakfast was cooked to order (ordered the night before) to a time when you want it. Lovely grounds with wildlife. Would highly recommend it.
Cons: They wasn't anything I didn't like
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The breakfast was good.
Cons: I stayed in the “family room”. The bed is way too hard. When I told the owner he said that it is an orthopaedic mattress which is definitely not needed unless you have particular issues. Concrete is more pleasant. The bathroom is outside the bedroom.
4.6 Okay
Cons: The rooms are extremely cold during night! My friend and i were awakened by the cold!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: room was beautifully decorated and supplied with courtesy water and tea/coffee making facilities Breakfast was well cooked and well presented with a varied choice, using lovely china crockery, ( particularly likes the scrambled eggs and smokes trout) which were taken in the lovely conservatory overlooking the beautiful gardens. The hosts were very accommodating and there to give local advice, we also purchased some free range eggs and their own honey made from bees in their own apiary. we would highly recommend staying at Pointers

Pros: Staff, décor,breakfast.
Cons: nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: very nice recently-decorated room, very clean and excellent value.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: I like the size of the room. The bathroom was great though a separate shower would be nice, you had a space behind the door which could serve as a shower. If not that then some handrails to assist older people some help to access the shower. Also perhaps a fridge would be nice. The big bed is great but we felt that the mattress is perhaps too hard as an older person we need a bit of give. The location in the centre of the town is good. The restaurant is good as is the food. The staff were very good and helpful. We were staying at the start of the covid-19 and the hotel had to shut the restaurant during our stay. Because of this we cut short our stay.
