Beautiful Accommodation and most very welcome. Enjoyed the friendly chat with the owner at Breakfast
Traditional stone house on the outside, cozy & modern in the inside. It was almost too clean for us. The house has carpet everywhere, so you better be prepared with slippers or use the available shoe covers at the entrance. Our room was well equipped and decorated with taste, had an en suite bathroom with a tub and a separate shower booth. We could enjoy the scenery from the window with green hills and sheeps. There are plenty of restaurants in the village, 20 minutes on foot or 2 by car.
Beautiful home within an easy walk to restaurants.great room and views
Mattress or topper was a little lop sided
Nice view during breakfast!
The location was fantastic, right by the town and local pubs and shop, and easy to drive on from. It's okay for a 1 night stop over in a clean room, but don't expect too much.
We got a message to say we could only check in strictly between 4pm and 7pm (which is odd we felt), we then arrived at 4:30pm, and then had to wait 10 minutes outside in the cold and drizzle before someone answered the door. On top of that, the staff didn't really apologise for the wait and were not the friendliest when bringing us in. There was confusion over the breakfast which was additional cost and we chose not to take. The bed was not that comfortable with bad springs, however, to be fair, the room was warm and clean. Overall, not a great stay, and if you were to pay for their breakfast on top I would not recommend. If no breakfast needed and you're not too fussy then it's probably just fine.
