10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location between beach and walking to the main town shopping dinning area
Cons: The shower glass doors are only 1/2 doors, odd! Water goes everywhere then you have to throw all you towels in the floor to mop up. Not very green of them lol
7.5 Good
Pros: - friendly staff - sea water in the pool - bowling - close to the Golden Horn beach - free parking
Cons: - depending which building you get your room, one (B) is still old, smelly and old fashioned. - average AC - breakfast
7.5 Good
Pros: the hotel is comparable to the price. it has good hotel space and restaurant is good too. self parking is a plus.
Cons: still, the walk to zalatini rat is about 30 minutes. not the 10 minutes like mentioned.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location close to the beach
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a true 4 star by any standard. Very clean, well organized and fully functional. Staff is very kind and helpful and the hotel looks realy good as soon as you step in. The location is fantastic, just less than 10 min walking to and from Zlatni Rat Beach. It has one of the most complete and functional fitness rooms I've ever seen in a 4 star hotel and the spa is excellent. I would return as it is a realy good value for money - at least in the shoulder season. Price doubles in high season.
Cons: One thing to point out is the mattress which wasn't to my taste. I would sink in it as is was really soft and wight doesn't spread out evenly. Also, we got double beds an d I requested a queen size. The food could be better but it's OK. The shower is truly annoying because it was badly engineered and the way the shower head support is fixed makes it very awkward to take a shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a special resort. We were there in the off-season and it was a real treat. We didn't stay long and actually did everything that needed to be done - including the main beach (10 min walk away, take your beach shoes!) Spa, Hotel Pool and the other many activities. Breakfast was plentiful, lots of choice and well managed. We enjoyed our stay on this beautiful island and this was the perfect hotel which allows you to kick back and enjoy probably the most popular part of Bol.
7.1 Good
Pros: - friendly staff - sea water in the pool - bowling - close to the Golden Horn beach - free parking
Cons: - depending which building you get your room, one (B) is still old, smelly and old fashioned. - average AC - breakfast

7.1 Good
Pros: Location & very polite & help-full stuff. Balcony in the room. Pool. Good restaurant (wood charcoal barbecue & pizza’s) with takeaway to room. Got full discount for one child during our stay.
Cons: Got a room that wasn’t described correct at the time of booking (regarding pictures), as I tend to book according what I see on website. I have booked for 2 adults+2 children, property didn’t get such info. Worst breakfast spread ever, not on 4 stars level. Elevator working-not working. Needs service. Outside barbecue smoke used to get sucked into ventilation, sewage too, even through a/c sometimes, room needs more attention & service ( especially a/c units). Not enough light at shower. Carpet in the room needs complete deep cleaning as it is full of stains & some kind of small thorns, got stung to both feet few times.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: No coffee or tea facilities or loan of iron. Plus carpet was dirty and stained in room.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Spacious bedroom with a big balcony and a great view. All the staff absolutely brilliant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect. Couldn't have asked for s better service all round.
Cons: Can't wait to go back

Bluesun Hotel Bonaca - Bol - Bedroom
6
8.0 Excellent (402 reviews)
C$ 131+
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The location was good
Cons: The hotel was so old and the food was average just made in bulk not nice at all. For what we paid for our room it was not very nice at all. The hotel rooms have paper thin walls and roofs where we could hear everything plus at 11.30 at night there where still kids partying at the front of our room we called reception and security soon came. Wasn’t a pleasant stay at all. All the staff speak in French even tho we were in Croatia. Will not stay here again and will not recommend to anyone!!!!
7.5 Good
Pros: The Front Desk staff were very nice. We enjoyed the food too! Very good for a buffet!
Cons: The entertainment was all in French. We had learned some Croatian, but we should have brushed up on our French. Our room was very close to the pool, so from morning until night it was a wall of noise from the music and animations. We left two days early.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Gastronomy
Cons: French party all the time. If you want to expirience Dalmatia don't go there..
5.4 Okay
Pros: Good air con in room. Great location close to Zlatni beach with lots of activities on the beach. Friendly bar staff
Cons: Wouldn’t stay here again or recommend to anybody. Staff only spoke in French, 99% of guests were French and the entertainment, announcements etc was all in French. Card machine was not working so they made us walk to the other hotel to pay, didn’t even apologise. Breakfast lunch and dinner was a very unenjoyable experience, very loud and busy, reminded me of feeding time at the zoo, and no clean tables to be found unless you were first there. Food was average, mostly over-cooked, salad bar was the highlight but nothing extraordinary. Wine on tap was watered down and terrible. Only one bar for entire hotel at the pool and constantly had a queue. The pool area is an eye sore to look and and deck chairs are the most uncomfortable chairs. You’ll end up spending time on the beaches close to hotel and eating elsewhere so I wouldn’t recommend going all inclusive.
7.9 Good
Pros: Value for money, food quality very good and bar choices included okay. Bikes good and animation staff fun esp Acapulco. Room good size
Cons: Wifi in room poor but ok at pool, restaurant deck,
5.8 Okay
Pros: Localização
Cons: We did not like the way our reservation was conducted, less than a week after our arrival at the hotel, they wanted to move us to another resort, 35km away from the original resort of our reservation, not to mention the hassles and inconveniences we had with phone calls and e- mails to honor our reservation at Bonaca Resorts, booked in June 2018. I felt a total lack of professionalism and credibility of this Bonaca Resorts. I never come back to him and I do not even mention it.

6.7 Good
Pros: Staff were excellent. Bed comfortable. Room clean. Plenty of clean towels.
Cons: En suite and shower exceptionally small. You had to go into en suite sideways to get past wash hand basin and sit sideways on toilet as there was a radiator directly in front of it restricting access. Bed linen not changed often enough.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were absolutely lovely and the venue was perfect away from the crowds
Cons: The break fast.cold food was fine but hot food was waiting too long
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Natasha on reception was excellent apart from her- nothing
Cons: The place was very tired , bedrooms were from the 70s, shower was only big enough for a small child, long dark corridors, bed and linen very old. Lampshades full of dust- basically booked for four nights but left after one which says it all. Obviously asked about a refund but no chance. Stay away from here a total shambles of a place.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very nice and accommodated us last minute. Location was very good
5.0 Okay
Pros: Fairly good location
Cons: Air conditioning not working Small Rooms very stuffy Breakfast very poor- no choice

Pros: We loved our stay. Location: nice walk to the main beach. Nice hotel in general.
Cons: The pool was really not ok. Fortunatelly we prefer swimming in the sea.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: - great location - friendly and professional staff (+ there is always enough staff available) - good equipment (especially the suites) - the hotel does things properly (no cutting corners) - very good a la carte restaurant - people quarrel here about paid sun beds. I think it is a plus in this case. The fee is symbolic (under 2 EUR/day) and it prevents guests from unreasonable grabbing of sun beds
Cons: - some prices at the pool bar are unreasonable (something is cheap, like coffee or cocktails, but something else, e.g. beer, is surprisingly expensive) - bad and loud music a bit too often (I am not sure whether hotel guests really require this cultural enrichment - the restaurant was always half empty when there was some music performance compared to when guests could enjoy just the fabulous view and mutual conversation) - a bit more maintenance of small things could be done throughout the Winter (squeaky doors, not working lights here and there)
5.4 Okay
Pros: Perfect location
Cons: Rude waiters at breakfast. Housekeeping knocked on the door very early. The hotel is old and could use some renewing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the aspect of the hotel. It was quiet and peaceful and the morning sunrise was beautiful
Cons: Too many kids!
7.0 Good
Pros: Have stayed here a few times before. The hotel overall is good.It is clean ,The breakfast ,has a large selection, to choice from.Had a large double room, with it own sitting room.View across the pool,to the sea. The breakfast staff very good.
Cons: Paying for a sun lounger, find this very irritating. The staff on the reception, could do with some customers training,I have said this before. The first time I stayed here,it had the feel of a family run hotel, were the guest ,were important, that has been lost somewhere along the way.Check in/out could be better.A kettle in the room would be nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly located - views and pool and ‘beach’ Nice touches everywhere eg left-behind-book library, aircon kicks in automatically when the windows shut. Pool a good size and we liked the landscaping around the sea-side of things. We had a one bed suite with sea view. It was spacious - had all we wanted - 2 stove, fridge etc. Easy walk to the main harbour and restaurants, going the other way afforded a different cove and great stargazing opportunities. The staff were all friendly, proactive, efficient, English speaking and professional. The room was pristine and tidied every day. Comfy beds and good linen. Towels quality and soft. The restaurant was good - and the breakfasts plentiful and high quality: several cold meats and cheeses, selection of salads, selection fresh fruits, breads and croissants and pastries, selection jam (via dispensers which was novel and good), several egg dishes, sausages and bacon, juices and coffees, cereals and muesli and toppings, lots of teas and hot chocolate.
Cons: Nothing to be honest. I would recommend they perhaps get a list of fish you can see while snorkelling. Oh - it would be good to forewarn guest of music nights. It wasn’t unpleasant at all but if you aren’t expecting it and don’t know how long it may go on for then can be a bit off putting. This season seems to be Wednesday - a live band playing til 11.30 - and a Dalmatian folk band on Friday - finished earlier.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Modern hotel just in front of the sea and with a private rocky beach on amazing clean waters. I enjoyed the calm and tranquillity of both the hotel and the small town Postira. Recommend choice if you wanna stay out of the crowd and just relax and enjoy sunsets. Room very clean and staff friendly and pretty kind. Food ok.
Cons: Perhaps they should not charge for a sunchair and umbrella, but you can do without

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very nice!
Cons: The breakfast could be a little better
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff, whenever we had contact, were very friendly and helpful, this starting at reception. We were made to feel welcome and they were interested in where and what we had done for the day. The hotel is within easy walking to the centre where there are an abundance of eateries, and to the beaches. Our room was clean and tidy, there were cold drinks in the mini bar, breakfast was excellent with a good variety. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Cons: Only gripe, the patio had long black hairs on it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff of this hotel is very friendly and helpful, they made us feel very welcome! The rooms are clean and basic, the balcony is relatively big. The swimming pool is a nice extra, we enjoyed hanging out there at the end of a busy day exploring Bol. The breakfast is very nice! The city centre of Bol is just a few minutes away by foot. In short: great staff, great location, fine room!
Cons: Our bathroom smelled a lot like cigarettes, however when we mentioned it to the staff they gave us a new room immediately.
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast had good choice and staff very pleasant. Nice quiet pool area.
Cons: Bed was a little hard and creaky

7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were very helpful trying to solve the smoke problem, and eventually moved us to a new room. Breakfast is great, and the pool area was nice to relax by. The location is about a 10 minute walk from town and 25 minutes to Zlatni Rat beach, but there is a free shuttle service to collect you from the port and take you to the beach.
Cons: Our room smelt of cigarette smoke. Although the room was advertised as 'no smoking', there was still an ashtray in the room!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean, contemporary hotel with good facilities . The staff particularly reception staff Ines and Darios were so friendly and obliging . They couldn’t do enough to help . We arrived on my sons 12th birthday and he was left some mini cakes and a birthday message which was lovely .
Cons: Small hill from town walking back
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was in a great location with 3 awesome restaurants nearby rather than doing the main town restaurants. (Service, quality of food and pricing were all great at Gradelle, pizza navoni and Ranc). The rooms were equipped with mini fridges and a balcony which made it very easy to enjoy some afternoons and evenings enjoying the beautiful patio and pool. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We stayed 5 nights in this hotel and we were really happy we chose it because of the included breakfast and pool. Easy parking, not many steps and elevator access in the hotel. Hotel room safe, hair dryer and several electrical outlets were also added benefits.
Cons: The coffee at breakfast was not great. The bed sheets were very small and there was no quilt/comforter so we had to use the spare blankets in the closet which I hate doing while travelling or just hope that those are always washed too. The guests before us on our balcony broke a glass and there were shards everywhere which I had to clean up. No one came by to sweep it to make sure everything was safe so I just never went on the balcony or patio without flip flops. Minor complaints because everything else was perfect.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, good location, the breakfast was also not bad. All in all good value for money. We got a free pick up and drop of from and to the port which was great.
Cons: It's a bit of a walk uphill going to the hotel from the city but not really an issue

Pros: The location, rooms, breakfast, staff..everything was great.

6.3 Good
Pros: Location amazing
Cons: Rooms a bit dated but you get what you pay for. Pool dirty
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location for us was the good thing about this hotel near the beach and walking distance to the town.
Cons: We paid for a sea view room but this is not possible at this hotel as trees are in the way. We thought we had a double room but only twins were available solution was to shove a duvet between the two beds. Really don’t feel this hotel was value for money the location is all it has going for it
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Location is good but does not outweigh all of the other issues we had.
Cons: Old non renovated hotel. Room booking was messed up and not resolved. Very expensive for what you are getting. The whole hotel is dirty, ants and bugs all over the walls in our rooms. AC in rooms didn’t work. Breakfast is stale and lacking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We got an upgrade to the Elaiphusa, so this was a steal!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location was good
Cons: The breakfast was not good at all, and the staff there were very rude especially at reception. Not welcoming at all.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, swimming pool area was very well kept and clean, the whole area was kept immaculate, inside and out. Helpful staff. The cleaning ladies were lovely and very helpful. The rooms were always cleaned nice and early.
Cons: The hotel is dated , the rooms although very clean need an update and spruce. The aircon did not work, thankfully it wasn't in the height of Summer. Beds weren't the comfiest. Breakfast was ok, the hot breakfast options weren't cooked the best.
7.7 Good
Pros: Good location, close to the beach and walking distance from the port area and Zlatni Rat. Rooms are a bit dated, but we didn't spend much time in them.
Cons: My only complaint is that our bathroom had a strange, unpleasant smell.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful friendly staff. Excellent location with balcony overlooking bay. Nice relaxing place
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Locatio, location, location is everything. Also, friendly staff, beautiful view, very comfortable room and distance from large free public parking lot. Nearby restaurants, coffee shops, store & small farmer's market. 2 beaches very close to hotel. Fully stocked bar in the room. Overall not overcrowded tourist destination unlike most of others on Croatian Coast.
Cons: Loud locals trying to sing (not successfully) at 0230 AM just beneath the hotel (just one night). No night reception officer which is odd for 4 star hotel. Breakfast although satisfying a bit underwhelming for 4 star hotel.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The receptionist Paula was very friendly and service minded.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location Comfortable Great service - and good tips for the island
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is absolutely outstanding. All the rooms have views to the sea. Very quiet place, perfect for some days off. You can find in the surroundings a lot of restaurant with different qualities and prices (VERY good price-quality compare to the rest of Croatia). There are 2 beaches close to Vrilo, but there 1 one with SAND (very rare in croatia) just 30 mins walking or 7 mins by taxi/motorbike. I highly recommend Postira and Vrilo for relax and stay away of all the other crowded croatian cities (Bol, Slit, Hvar, Dubrovnik, etc...)
Cons: Breakfast is quite simple and could be repetitive if you are staying more than 3 days. Although rooms have enough space and they are sort of modern... baths are a little bit old
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Family run and small
Cons: No kettle and no use of fridge in room and paying for beach towels
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent, beautiful view and rooms completely soundproof easy to sleep. Staff are lovely and very helpful.
Cons: Breakfast could be improved, i.e. able to make toast and more fruit not just watermelon everyday.... Eggs also made in advance so a bit cold.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location great, bed comfortable, beautiful view.
Cons: The lady upon check in was rude and didnt make us feel very welcome after a long day of travelling. We are on holidays, a little friendliness would go a long way! Breakfast was ok, coffee was very poor.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great location and view. Close to beach. Staff recommendations for local restaurants were excellent.
Cons: Room was spacious and clean, but worn and in need of new towels, mattresses, sofa, carpeting. We occasionally experienced unpleasant odors in hallway and in room/bath.

Pros: ARKADA provides nice view over the sea,, and is well located. Having a car, it is easy to reach the city or Hvar, not too far (no idea by bus). The swiming pool is large and very convenient. Service is good, and people at desk are very friendly and efficient. Stari Grad is an old and very nice city,. There are good restaurants . Authentic place compared to Hvar , which is very expensive and full of tourists.
Cons: Very old hotel. The room was very old fashionned, with dirty carpeting and filthy bed covers. The bathroom needed remodeling. No AC , no fridge, we couldn't imagine the place in summer ! TV set was coming from old ages. Elevators in poor conditions ... This hotel would need intense renewal (if you are nostalic of Tito's epoque, you are at the rigth place !) !
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Beaches near by were nice
Cons: The hotel is old, has terrible facilities and is poorly maintained. Vacuum cleaners look like they are from the 70s, so nothing is actually clean, carpets and toilets smell badly. The bed has no cushions so you feel every coil from the mattresses. Towels and sheets had holes in them. Every single item in the hotel looks 40 years old. This looks like an abandoned soviet luxury hotel, which is now in terrible condition
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel description is accurate. It's what I excepted to be. This is clean two star hotel on great location by the sea. Great value for money.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view was wonderful and beaches right next to the hotel. The food was excellent, enjoyed breakfast on the terrace with sea view. Rooms are comfortable enough, with balcony, just enough space, had everything we needed. Airconditioning was the only thing missing for perfect stay because at times it was too hot in the room. Luckily, hotel pool is also at hand, with great view of the sea and nearby beach so we could cool quickly. Staff is pretty helpful and kind, some more than expected, with charming domestic sense of humor. To sum up, had a lovely holiday, definitely would return again.
Cons: Airconditioning missing.

Pros: Everything. Excellent location, interior arrangement and furniture, beautiful terrace, excellent breakfast and superb staff.
Cons: The only thing missing is an elevator, at least for luggage. Otherways, everything is perfect.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Right in the middle of town, comfy bed, nice bathroom and shower, and a 25 minute walk from Zlatini Rat beach. Restaurants, a bar, and shops closeby.
Cons: I was on the other end of the hotel, but there was a loud club/bar. I couldn't hear it, but I think if you were on the wrong side of the hotel it could keep you up. Just ask to be on the side thats far away from the club and you'll be in great shape.
