Days Inn by Wyndham Joplin

I liked the check in ladies, they were very nice and accommodating. The room was mostly clean, the bathtub was a bit crusty. Fresh towels, the sheets and linens were clean. It was a quiet room. Very easy to get around.

Bathroom was not as clean as I would like. The breakfast was very small and when we went down at 7:00 it wasn't really put together at all.

The location was good for us.

I booked a non smoking room for my 16 year old son and I. When we checked in the young lady behind the counter was very nice. When we got to our room we noticed immediately that it smelled like smoke. The couple next to us was out in there balcony/ porch smoking but noticed they were walking in and out of their room smoking. I cannot be around smoke because I suffer from horrible migraines. The front desk lady was kind and allowed us to change rooms. She moved us upstairs and about 5 rooms down from the first room. We went into our second room and the smoke smell was worse. I noticed that two doors down from us there was a enclosed walkway with about 7-8 rooms. The smell of smoke was so overpowering that it made me sick to my stomach and instant migraine. We were there for a baseball tournament and some of my son’s teammates were also staying there and there rooms were in a complete separate wing and they didn’t have any smoke smell to them at all!!!!!! As for me this property wasn’t very accommodating or to clean and the smell of smoke was so overpowering and unmanageable!!!!!!!!

It was cheap, employees were very nice.

STRONG SMALL OF SMOKE!!! Even though it says no smoking! Rooms are so full of smoke!

The lady at the font desk was nice.

We had to switch rooms because the remote wouldn't work so they moved us to a second room and in this room there was a spider on the bed. My husband took a picture and we went down to show them, the lady at the front desk had us email the general manager.
