10.0 Excellent
Pros: Impeccable service, delicious food, outstanding room, wide range of activities, and beyond expectation
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's really beautiful!
Cons: The only disappointment was being charged almost 2.000 baht for a bottle of wine that we later found in every supermarket for 350!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The beach was beautiful and we almost always had it to ourselves. Travelling into the hotel by boat, we saw many locations with very crowded beaches, but the beach at this location was clear and empty most of our visit. Having our own pool at our room was also a treat and worth the cost. The breakfast buffet each morning had everything we needed. There was a cook for omelettes, bacon and other meats, fruit and deli meat/cheese choices, etc... All very good! The staff here also tend to you constantly, very nice! When we traveled to dinner, they picked us up in a golf cart. When we sat in the beach chairs they showed up with a bucket of ice and water bottles. They have scheduled hours for bringing fruit, ice cream, and afternoon tea to guests. The person I was travelling with had a birthday during our trip and the hotel showed up with a birthday cake for her. Wonderful service!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The beach is unbeatable, it is almost like a private beach. The team is really professional and make their best effort to ensure your comfort. Nice layout of room. The food is good, especially the seafood buffet with fire show, worth to try.
Cons: We stayed in room 109 next to the main pool, it is convenient as we have kids with us, yet lack of privacy if it is for couple.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location. Very clean. Wonderful landscaping. Brilliant staff. Excellent accommodation. It really is difficult to find any negatives. It is a very expensive resort, but I do consider that you get the exclusivity and value for the money.
Cons: Cannot think of a single negative.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect welcome at Jadet Pier, and very smooth transfer to the island (and back to the mainland). Amazing private beach, crystal clear water just like in a swimming pool. The beach was cleaned constantly. Our beach villa was spacious and cozy. The staff were absolutely amazing, Thai friendliness/service at its best, one of the best experiences we have ever had in this regard. The GM is around all the time and often talks with the guests, which is uncommon and we appreciated it. We loved the fruit, ice cream and afternoon tea served daily from 1PM to 5PM. Breakfast was good. If one needs total relaxation, this is the perfect resort, as it is very quiet and peaceful.
Cons: Unfortunately, there were sand flies and sea lice during the last 3-4 days of our stay. We have experienced worse, but it was still annoying. The biggest downside for us was the food served for dinner, we thought the quality was average, and definitely expected more from such an incredible resort. At least they serve small complimentary appetizers before the meal that are delicious.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful clean beach, turquoise warm sea, great pool at just the right temperature, gym, well equipped thatched beach villa, excellent spa, amazing staff ! Complementary fruit and ice cream and afternoon tea didn’t need a lunch !
Cons: My only slight grumble was that there wasn’t enough entertainment and the excellent entertainment which we did see was from 7pm and only lasted 30-45mins. We were back in the villa for 8.30pm which was a bit too early, even for us who were there to relax. From past experiences at other similar venues the entertainment would start after dinner about 8.30pm. Also live music in the dining room at lunch and dinner would give it more atmosphere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, perfect service, perfect resort, everything is perfect, the general manager was extremely friendly and welcoming. Will be back definitely again next year.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
6.3 Good
Pros: nice environment Nice complimentary fruits and afternoon tea Great beach and water activities
Cons: Bad attitude staff in the lounge of ao Prao pier Not so good housekeeping Far from the groceries

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was awesome. The hotel had a great cosy feel to it. Right close to the pier where the ferry drops you off and picks you up, so super convenient . Scooter rental shop was right next door, which was great too. Food at the restaurant was tasty, but there are great restaurants all along the island.
Cons: Everything was super nice, so If i really had to nitpick i would say that a new coat of varnish around the hotel would spruce it up really nicely. But that is really nitpicking.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: -Breakfast is good. -The hotel is located next to the pier.
Cons: -Limited time for bike rental -Wifi connection is weak in the room
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The scenery and pool and beach very nice, Room spacious and clean, very friendly staff.
Cons: Breakfast a bit boring. price of the Room too high compared to quality, but the island is expensive. Young Chinese guests oblivious to all rules.
7.9 Good
Pros: Clean quiet Delicious at Ploy sea restaurant
Cons: Air on is too cold The beach is a small

Pros: Breakfast is good
Cons: Room isn’t value for money
6.7 Good
Pros: Nice staff. Nice beaches
Cons: Food not good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing beach, personel, location, beach, energy of the place. Great quality. Very rich breakfast.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: The breakfast lacks nutrional vegetarian options
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The resort is kept beautifully and a lot of care put into the maintenance of it.
Cons: The food wasn’t the best and it was very expensive. We spent €800 in 5 days and that was only with 1 massage each
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! It is just by the beach, not even a short walk away Very friendly and helpful staff The little town is a short taxi ride away Given how the resort is a fair distance from any convenience stores/bars, was surprised the menu and minibar items were NOT exorbitantly overpriced
Cons: Just a very, very minor point - the shower could use a little more pressure and hot water can be more consistent
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. Perfect locstion and very quiet.
5.8 Okay
Pros: We eat several times dinner, very good staff, excellent food! (breakfast so la-la) Beach very nice, clean and (compared with others) very quiet!
Cons: We (6 persons) get the 3 rooms not closed to each other! One room: about 5 stairway steps, very closed to the pool, the other rooms about 60 to 100 steps (highest rooms on the hill). Coffee not good, a better one can order, but have to pay extra! Pool with small kids: Not really made for small kids below 2 years old. Slippery floor in the pool, easy to hitting with sharp stoned around.

6.3 Good
Pros: Service and staffs are the only great things.
Cons: Location is not as good as its price. I paid for 3,600 thb/night for the resort locates beside the beach but it’s sharp rock beach that you cannot go to swim or sunbathe. Even they allow you to walk from the resort to Sai-Kaew beach through Sai-Kaew resort but it comes with tons of regulation that deny to use any beach facilities. Another thing is breakfast, it’s just a la cart that you can order only one menu and if you order Thai breakfast, forget about any bread, toast or egg as you have to pay for it. Just only simple salad (lettuce, tomato, and onion with 2 nasty sauces) and coffee that you can refill. These are all what I paid 3,600 THB/ night for !!
7.1 Good
Pros: Helpfull staff. Lovely white houses in a beautiful garden.
Cons: Not very lively
5.4 Okay
Pros: This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
Cons: Got to the property and expected a white sand beach with use of a swimming pool. When we arrived the property has no white sanded beaches, only rock. Could not swim in the ocean here! Ok, we thought we will just use the swimming pool, no big deal. When we arrived at the pool there was a security guard who immediately started yelling at me for putting my toe in the pool, thought this was very strange! At this point we all went and put our bathing suits on for a swim in the pool. Eight of us came back to the pool, my 15 year old son and the rest of our family. As we started to enter the pool, this same security guard stated that we could not swim in the pool with board shorts and regular swim wear, which I have used through the world. We were told rudely that the men had to use European swim wear. Speedo type swimwear and bikinis for the girls. So basically we were banned from using the swimming pool. This property does not have their own pool they share a pool with another resort next-door. It felt like there was some kind of feud going on between the two property and we got caught in the middle. The staff at the desk keep giving us the runaround about a refund, as we had book this nightmare hotel for 3 nights. Finally after hours of talking to the manager at the property they gave us a telephone number in Bangkok to help us cancel the reservation. Booking.com tried to contact this number and was given the runaround by the staff in Bangkok. Finally after a few hours and a lot of fighting the hotel agree to give us all our money back expcept for the use of 1 room for the night. The price was around $90 a night. Would also like to mention that all the other hotels were charging around 200 baht for a massage, this hotel was charging around 2000 baht if I remember correctly. Very pricey for hotel with no beach, no pool, and nothing to do here. All the white sanded beaches are on the other side of the island!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location and grindly helpgul stagf. Would recommend!
6.0 Good
Pros: the garden is amazing!!!!
Cons: room not clean women hair all over( c picture) many ants on bed (c pictures) poor breakfast to far from sai kaew beach swimming pool is not really in this hotel u need to go to the hotel next to u it. the beach cant be use a lot of rocks the place is full of c......... people

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff at the reception and in the restaurant. Good location, walking distance to the "main street" with all the restaurants, etc. Resort is almost on the beach with a lot of restaurants over there to choose from for dinner. Good and complete breakfast (Western and Thai) in the restaurant which is almost right on the beach. Nice view. Good coffee. Nice size room and complete bathroom with a swimming pool in front of the door. A bit noisy during the day though. The place has a beautiful aesthetic. Great service is the complimentary boat travel and taxi ride to and from the Resort.
Cons: Koh Samed itself. Not a nice island. All the roads (2 main ones) have really high speed bums, which makes driving a scooter not much fun anymore. Much more fun to do that on Koh Mak: no speed bums at all and more lovely nature. You should realise that the hotel is located within a Nature Reserve, which means that when you check in they make you pay Thb 200 per person! The prices on Koh Samed are higher than on the islands of Koh Chang and Koh Mak. It's also more touristy.
7.0 Good
Pros: staff were very good and location
Cons: its advertised with 3 swimming pool when booking and they don't let you use all 3 not good....
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The staff and security
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing really special, nothing over middle class hotel
Cons: Danger for kids! At the pool, side for kids playing and running arround: There is a cover on the floor, size about 1 meter x 1 meter, it is the access / entrance for maintenance staff to the pool underground equipment. It was open and no staff watching there / no anything people’s can see it‘s open! Kids can fall (2 to 3 meters) and die! Staff: We sorry about that. Thats all. And as I get the impression about a big part from the staff: It will be all, no changes about training or exchange talking how they have to do there job correctly. Bad and sad! Breakfast low choose and very low quality. Not close to the Thai Hotel middle standard. And other bad experiences. I recommend to choose another hotel.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was spot on other than the view from the family room.
Cons: Family room had a view of a brick wall. For the price we paid you would expect a lot more. Had to move to poolside villa.these options were not given at the start of our stay so the first day was a write off.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: clean room
Cons: DANGER! At the pool, side for kids playing and running arround: There is a cover on the floor, size about 1 meter x 1 meter, it is the access / entrance for maintenance staff to the pool underground equipment. Pros: Comfortable bed in a very nicely decorated room. Staff are friendly and helpfull.
Cons: There are sandflies on the beach so you will get lots of bites that itches.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were fantastic especially Min Aung who went out of he’s way to help with anything we needed. Also the pick up and drop off system to the property was really easy.
Cons: The location is a little far from the action but this could also be considered a positive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean room! Comfy beds and nice decorations. Great balcony with sea views. Staff was very friendly and helpful! There was no problem for us to check in a lot earlier. 6.7 Good
Pros: Great location, away from the crowds, private beach. Restaurant was good, breakfast fine. The grounds are pretty, and well maintained. The shuttle service from Bam Phe is very good.
Cons: One of the reasons we booked the property was the kayaking, even though it is on their website, we tried to book one but, after a show of looking for one, no kayaks, only a rather dilapidated paddle board, and some old windsurfers, no good for exploring the coastline. Staff were not keen to do anything about it. The only other concern was the speedboats from Bam Phe bringing day trippers, and the parasailing speedboats coming in very close to shore at very high speed. People were swimming at these distances and there didn’t seem to be any restrictions on speed etc. There is a cordoned swim area, which is not very big.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are very nice (SeaView Room) and clean with enough bathroom space. Rooms are also very clean. Staff is nice Food is really good. Breakfast has a small buffet part with some basics but you can than order a breakfast of choice on a menu which is excellent! I liked this solution and all the food all day long is of very high quality. Swimming Pool is very nice (maybe put some longchairs instead of only the mattresses because if you're getting a little older, lying on the floor is very low to the ground!) Private beach area nice and clean!
Cons: Although the cleaning is great and the gardener is working the whole day some general maintenance starts to be needed (worn out wood, little bits of paint here and there to be redone, small repairs in lighting, lamps in the room etc.) The biggest issue for me is the Chinese people arriving by boat every morning for a day trip using part of the facilities of the hotel. Although personnel is trying to chase them out of the private beach or pool area, they don't often care and they have lack of respect for the people staying in the hotel I presume the hotel is doing this kind of business to complement the income but if you pay about 135€ (certainly now with the rate of the Thai Baht) and you have to see 150 rude Chinese arrive every day making noise, taking pictures everywhere, even of the private rooms of some people, using the toilets but leaving them dirty so that the personnel has to clean 10 times than the total value for money of the hotel is dropping down!... I loved the hotel but this experience disappointed me a lot ... not sure if I would stay there again. Without the one day travellers, NO DOUBT I would stay here again
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff service
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Just 5 min away of Saikaew beach this quit resort is at the most north side of the island. We toured the island on a rented motorcycle easily in half a day and found we made the best choice for a resort for us. We stayed the first night at the garden view bungalows and then changed to a beach front bungalow and this is absolutely worth it. The beach and sea at your feets! Paradise!
Cons: The personnel is present and can be of help but are not pro active
4.0 Okay
Pros: Location was nice near the beach.
Cons: Pretty old resort and the rooms was also old without any recent renovation. A bit scary shower behind bungalow (outside). Very expensive rooms for this poor quality of rooms.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The room look nice and clean
Cons: The group tour they are all over the place in the day time lack of piece and can’t relax on the beach and the pool.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The beds here are so soft and deep compared to many hotels in Thailand which are hard and uncomfortable. The restaurant gets 5 stars from us. Every meal we ate there was cooked to perfection. The breakfast was an amazing choice from a menu and not just boring scrambled eggs. Couldn’t fault the service either. Staff are friendly and always on hand to help. Overall, this resort was a very good choice. Throughly enjoyed everything.
Cons: Quite a few Mosquitoes around but hey, you have to expect these in this part of the world.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Not much really. The resort has a lot of potential, but it is no where near meeting it. The staff was friendly, but that's about it.
Cons: We booked a Sea View Bungalow (best option that was available) and were given a second row room, where you could barely make out the ocean between the trees, pool, and other bungalows before us. Then, there was mold in the bathroom, which the staff kindly offered to paint over to "fix it"... We slept fine in the first night only to be awoken by loud Thai music and MCing waking us up at ca. 8/9am. This continued until around lunch time when literal boatloads of Chinese tourists (ca. 100) descended upon Mooban Talay, eradicating any kind of tranquility that was established in the few minutes of silence that were had up until then. After the Chinese tourists left and the mold was painted over, the next attack on our senses was launched from the same site that disturbed us in the morning. The public recreational area within earshot of the entire Mooban Talay compound was running a practice round for their Chinese New Years display and was already setting up for the local Full Moon Party. After another overpriced meal at the restaurant we had no other choice but to cut our stay short and escape to the South of the island to a more relaxing and welcoming location.

Pros: Everything worked fine. Room seemed to been just renowated, tidy, clean and comfortable. Host was helpful and it was located close either from the pier and Saikeaw beach.
Cons: Located at the backalley of main road. First time it was little a bit difficult to find it even with instructions.

Pros: It's a beautiful room - short walk to the beach. Great value for the price.
Cons: There might be some problem with the water pipe.

Pros: Great location, can easily walk from the pier to the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best thing about this property is size - it’s big and has three wcs with showers, so if it’s 4 of you travelling will help to avoid any lines to the shower. Another thing is cleanness of the rooms - it’s tidy and nice. Good Wi-Fi, bud doesn’t work perfect on the distant room.
Cons: When traveling to Samet next time, I’d prefer a property on the beach, as beaches on Samet really worth it.

Pros: The breakfast was lovely, and the other food served in the restaurant was also delicious. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist us wherever possible. The chalet that we stayed in was beautiful, I loved that the sound of the waves at night. The resort was very private. The only thing that I would like to mention is that on the website I saw that there is a hotel transport service if we would like to dive, but there isn't one...other than that we enjoyed our stay their immensely!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The resort locates in a very quiet beach. The beach front room we stayed is beautiful and comfortable. Staff is friendly and very helpful. They cleaned our room everyday. The resort's restaurant has plenty of choices and resonable price. the cocktials at the bar were good. Breakfast was wonderful, especially Thai food, they changed the kind of food everyday. I would like to go back there again some day.

Cons: clean up the garbage along the seashore
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic resort far from the crowded places. Quiet and chill. Cool staff. Good food.
Cons: Bed could be comfier
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was quiet, the staff were very helpful, the beach chairs were comfortable, the view is lovely, the room was huge and clean and well decorated and designed. We had a nice porch with chairs and plenty of room to sunbathe. A Thai mat, towels and umbrella was provided.
Cons: It was hard to get into town, the taxis wanted to charge a lot of money. 600baht for one direction. The breakfast was limited choices and a lower quality ingredient. It would have been nice to have some more variety. It was expensive for what we got, I have stayed at other places for cheaper with more food options and similar rooms on the same island. They charged us $100usd a night and I don’t feel like it was worth that price. The staff was lovely and the rooms are clean.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful and colorful resort in a peaceful and cozy area at the end of the island. The atmosphere is magic, especially for the private beach that, even if small, is quite enjoyable.
Cons: A negative point can be the fact that the resort is far away from town and you need at least 15/20 minutes to arrive there by taxi or motorbike. On the other hand that is also a plus for who is looking for a peaceful holiday. I didn't like the no friendly approach of the stuff. Most of them, at the reception as well as at the bar, seemed to be annoyed by the request of the guests.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Phenomenal! clean, super compfy bed, good AC, quiet and with a nice little (but stoneish) privat beach! Less then 3min walk to the main beach or 5-6mins to the next 7/11. Price/Value outstanding!! Highly recommended. you don’t feel the tourists from the main beach. The amazing, quite and paradise like beaches are south of Koh Samet. Get a scooter, worth it.
Cons: No complains!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This is an absolute gem for the price. Rooms are simple but large and very clean with some lovely touches, and the resort area is private with a lovely private (stony) beach to sit and have a drink away from the louder main beach. Very conveniently situated - walking distance to the town with plenty of eating options, and the main beach. Also the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and helped us out with several things while we stayed there including confirming our onwards travel in Thai.
Cons: Not a dislike per se but just to flag that the beds are very firm! Also the WiFi was unreliable.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, friendly staff, clean, away from the busy beach
Cons: Nothing.
9.2 Excellent

Pros: So nice Place, so nice staff, so nice view to sea and so nice snorkling. Very quiet and peaceful (boats from the Morning to evening made noise but so it is in Place like Koh Samed. Very isolated and serene in other ways. I recommend this from all of my heart.
Cons: Nothing really. If you want breakfast then you need to walk outside resort. Also nothing extra entertainment here which was nice.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location, next to main part of the island, but at the same time very quiet! Has pretty small privat beach
Cons: VERY hard to find, no signs next to road

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Close to beach
6.7 Good
Pros: Love the location of this hotel, and the staff are very helpful.
Cons: The hotel is totally focussed on dealing with large numbers of day tripper Chinese tourists who arrive early each day ( by 9 am) and completely take over the bar and restaurant area, meaning that guests are unable to have breakfast there, and are woken up early as these groups are VERY loud
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Convenience
Cons: Nice garden along the ways to the resort itself
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location is basically the only good thing about this hotel
Cons: Lots of mosquitoes, the mattresses are all with broken springs that stuck in your back, the sheets are not clean with holes and stains on them, the doors are so old that you need to use lots of force to open and close them and even when you succeed to close them, there are still holes that remain probably to let the mosquitoes get inside...
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very close to the beach
Cons: Feel like sand is everywhere
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and near the beach
Cons: Reception staff not very friendly,a smille would have been good and a please and thankyou.checkout lady very abrupt.
