One facility that would have greatly improved the experience of staying here was a Bar. The process for getting a drink was not easy or convenient.

Beautiful historic property in a good location.

One staff member (woman on reception AM 20/9) was particularly rude and unhelpful. She provided no information about arrival (which is complicated) and parking (which is on the street and requires Euro coins). This was in contrast to the woman on reception AM 21/9 who could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was average. The hotel itself seems to cater for functions and events mostly. It has nine rooms, two of which are right above the function area and kitchen and may be effected by noise.

Good choice of breakfast, Daily parking very cheap outside / near the hotel. Located the right side of town to get on main roads for exploring surrounding areas. Main hotel areas very interesting and authentic. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was a good 20 minute walk outside of the main centre of Lecce. The layout and finish in our standard double room was far less inviting than the photos suggested of other rooms. The bed headboard positioned under the window and the curtains actually touched the pillows. Would have been nice to know this was a very busy wedding venue too. Quite noisy on 3 of the 4 nights we stayed.
