Everything was nice: perfect location, close to the city center (with bus station in front of the house), clean room and friendly staff!
A lovely old building full of character and each room has a different theme.
No AC but a fan is provided and the windows open (ground floor rooms have a latch on the window so you can have it open but not too wide to let more air in).
The staff was very responsive and helped us out after our flight was delayed and we only arrived to the premises around 1am.
Our room did not resemble the pictures we previously saw online and used as a reference to book this hotel. While the pictures displayed nice and modern rooms, our room was quaint and the bathroom (especially shower) dated from a previous century. Cleanliness so so... Our "garden view" was more like "parking lot view with some trees behind it". Maybe we got given a non-refurbished room since our late arrival due to a delayed flight, but the room was definitely not what we had signed up for.
The staff were very friendly and the breakfast provided had a lot of choice and was very nice.
I paid for a suite and since coming home have checked the website again and we were clearly only put in a double room. The decor and bed was pretty basic, clearly not like the photos shown for the suites available on line. We also had to prop one side of the bed up with books to stop us rolling out as the floor was so sloping.
We were greeted by extremely friendly staff who made us feel at home - including a glass of port and some Lisbon pastries on arrival. Room was spacious and well appointed. Location was great - close to restaurants and cafes but still in a quiet area.
With a stay at Casa Oliver Príncipe Real, you'll be centrally located in Lisbon, steps from Principe Real Square and within a 5-minute walk of Botanical Garden. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, multilingual staff, and luggage storage.
