Overview

Just off the freeway near the medical district, the Best Western Shackleford makes a freshly renovated base in Little Rock, Arkansas, close to the heart of the capital. The Clinton presidential center and library and the River Market district sit downtown a short drive off, the school at Central High that desegregated the South stands as a national historic site nearby, and the marble state capitol and the trails of the river spread close by. A free breakfast and quick freeway access round out the stay, with dining and the interstate close by. Little Rock packs its history into a walkable downtown, the presidential library, the River Market's restaurants and the riverfront trail sit a short drive off, and the marble capitol and the historic high school anchor the city nearby. The breweries and shops of the SoMa district fill the evenings, and the river and its bridges thread the center. Pinnacle Mountain's trails and bluffs rise a short drive west of the city.

Wonderful
Gail, Jul 2023
My husband was having health issues and the staff was very helpful and concerned. Will definitely stay here on our next trip.

Pros (+) The breakfast was nice. The beds were comfortable.
Cons (-) The hotel seemed older, even though updated some, and needed some attention. For example, the bathroom ceiling was warped from some kind of water damage around the water sprinkler, and the pool light came out of the side of the pool and was floating in the water while we were swimming.

Pros (+) Smoke alarm kept chirping all night and pillow was dirty
