Just off the freeway near the medical district, the Best Western Shackleford makes a freshly renovated base in Little Rock, Arkansas, close to the heart of the capital. My husband was having health issues and the staff was very helpful and concerned. Will definitely stay here on our next trip.

Pros (+) The breakfast was nice. The beds were comfortable.
Cons (-) The hotel seemed older, even though updated some, and needed some attention. For example, the bathroom ceiling was warped from some kind of water damage around the water sprinkler, and the pool light came out of the side of the pool and was floating in the water while we were swimming.
