The staff were friendly, helpful and responsive. The room was comfortable overall for 3 and we were pleased to have air conditioning. Breakfast was lovely (continental, but with lots of choices) with a nice indoor/outdoor space for dining. The location is very good - close to Victoria Station (tube and coach) and Buckingham Palace. The shops and restaurants in the area are very nice as well.
There is no elevator in this older but well maintained building, so we decided to take a room on the lower level (below street level) vs 4th floor walk up. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, but the smells from the laundry (right down the hall) were unpleasant when coming and going from the room. The bathroom was spacious with a very hot shower but without a working fan, the bathroom became more like a sauna. Additionally, the bathroom could have benefitted from more surfaces to put your belongings (there were none - only the edge of the sink) and a couple of hooks on the back of the door. Aside from the bathroom, very nice accommodation.
