Premier Inn is becoming my favorite place in London for a quick stop before getting to my final destination. All the basics are covered, and at a very good price. We used the restaurant (having arrived from Heathrow after 11 pm), and the food was quick and tasty (but not haut cuisine). In the morning we had a good breakfast. The bed was fine, and we had a good night's sleep.
On check-in, both auto check-in kiosks were down, and the receptionist was doing double duty serving at the coffee bar. We got no acknowledge or "hello, be right with you". Frustrating after many hours of flying. Finally after serving a couple of people who appeared confused about what type of coffee to order, we were checked in.
clean room. high security standards. nice view. high quality air conditioner.
check in staff with accend. we had problems to understand, what he wanted from us.
The property was very nice and clean the staff very heplful and friendly
Nothing everything was excellent
I booked this hotel because I like the Premier Inn brand and it was only £59 for the night I needed in central London.
The location of the hotel is weird. I arrived after dark as the Eurostar had been delayed and in the dark it is not that great for a woman alone to walk up a badly lit side street to the main entrance. The hotel is undergoing renovation works so is looking a bit sorry for itself currently although I am sure it will be for the better once they are finished. The air conditioning unit in the room rattled loudly and I'm a light sleeper so I had to ask to change rooms.
Very good location and the staff, especially the check in staff were excellent. Very helpful and friendly.
Who says comfort and convenience should cost the earth? At Premier Inn Angel/Islington, you'll find everything you need for a great mini-break or city stay - without the jaw-dropping price tag. Step out and explore the bars and restaurants of Upper Street and the O2 Academy. Watch the Gunners in action at the Emirates Stadium. Or hop on a tube and tick off the capital's must-see sights: the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London and the British Museum are just minutes away. And, at the end of the day, return to a warm welcome, air-conditioned rooms, and extra-comfy beds.
