One of the more unique hotels to be found in both downtown Louisville and across the U.S., Louisville Hotels’ 21c Museum Hotel in Louisville is the first of its kind. It’s a hybrid of a 91-room boutique hotel and multi-venue contemporary art museum.

Visitors are drawn to the collection of 19th-century art. More than 9,000 sq. ft of exhibition space feature striking artwork across multiple galleries. Pieces include a replica of David, Fallen Fruit: The Practices of Everyday Life, and Asleep in the Cyclone.

Each piece of art in the 21c Museum complements the modern aesthetics of the property’s 91 rooms. Ten different types of lodging provide guests with a choice, whether they’re looking for something spacious and cozy or need plenty of room for a group of people. All rooms come with complimentary WiFi, a 42” flat-screen TV, Nespresso coffee machine, and original artwork. The Rooftop Apartment provides panoramic views of Louisville and plenty of outdoor lounging.

21c Museum and Hotel allows guests to dine in a casual environment surrounded by 19th-century art. Proof on Main features menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch and has more than 120-plus Kentucky Bourbons.
