4.0 Okay
Pros: The place was okay. Inexpensive, no frills.
Cons: Creepy location. Signage all broken. We weren't sure we were on the right road until we got there. Breakfast plates were Styrofoam and utensils were polystyrene -- environment be damned! The hotel should use recyclable alternatives.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast

Cons: It was "dated" but it was very clean and comfortable.

Cons: The room was not clean and had towels that were not cleaned [looked used ] Eventhough the listing shows there is a gym on site but it did not have any working equipment in it. The building looked run down and looks not been maintained.
1.0 Poor
Pros: It is closer to the places I wanted to see like the caverns.
Cons: The front desk, including manager, seemed unfriendly. The first room we got, the door wouldnt close unless you slammed it. Told the front desk and they seemed like it was a big issue and needed to prove me wrong before giv.. (not enough room to write all)

5.0 Okay
Pros: Great location, less than 5 minutes drive to the Luray Caverns. Nice shower. There's a small coffee maker in the room, the coffee is not good though. The fridge is bigger than I expected.
Cons: There's obvious dust on the headboard. I found trash under the comforter. The hair dryer needs some instructions. It seems very user unfriendly to have the ON button on the wall mount instead of on the hair dryer itself, but once you figure out you just have to press the ON button harder to the bottom, then you can free both your hands to dry your hair.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It has big rooms And its right in town
Cons: No
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: the Price was great.
Cons: There were about two dozen flies in the room and a used pad in the bathroom trash can.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The location is close to Italian restaurant which taste so yummy.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was just fine, the staff I felt with was very nice and friendly. They answered any questions I had, they were all approachable, very good experience.
Cons: It was fine, just what I expected.
5.0 Okay
Pros: This hotel was in a nice proximity to the center of Shenandoah National Park, which is what we were looking for, and at an affordable rate. We liked that our room had a mini-fridge and microwave and that the bed, bedding, and pillows were comfortable.
Cons: Room was not dusted fully, there was a strong cleaner type smell masking a pet urine smell. The tub was chipping/falling apart and had hairs in it from previous guests/animals; it was so gross we didn't shower. The bathroom & room spacing was too tight.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was amazing and staff was wonderful!!! Will definitely stay again. As well as reccomend
Cons: N/A
6.0 Good

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was super comfortable. Staff very friendly.
Cons: Ate breakfast at Circa. Not a big selection. Would have liked some french toast or corned beef hash.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The speakeasy restaurant was amazing.
Cons: The height of the bed.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great service! But really need to provide a kitchen for customers or make accommodations to get a nice machine and microwave for customer's.
Cons: I did not like the fact that they do not have a microwave or ice machine near by the rooms. Also, if people have kids and thier room is on the first floor why is their only steps available? It makes parents traveling with kids with strollers work harder to bring a stroller up the steps on the first floor to get to their room.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent rest for the soul unlike many modern hotels relating to the metaphysical aspects still remnants from the 19th century.
Cons: Small things not worth mentioning.
6.0 Good
Pros: Beautiful old building on a hill near Luray Caverns. Breakfast was a good deal, buffet $10.95 for basic scrambled eggs, bacon, high quality fresh fruit.
Cons: The property is run down and not very clean. The immediate surfaces and sheets/towels were clean, the floor was well vacuumed, so it's not like I was afraid to touch anything. But it needs a deep clean - carpets were stained, drain rims in the sink had black rings, bathroom door had hand marks.
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff was friendly, historic aspect of hotel was interesting, overall facilities were nice.
Cons: Room was small, bathroom small, room was very warm although the heat wasn’t on, generally needs a little bit of a facelift.

Pros: Very classy and comfortable. Loved the pool.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The decor and cleanliness
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and neat.
Cons: There was no TV in the bedroom. The TV was in the living room and not very comfortable to stay there and watch it. However, we were not there to watch TV, so it’s not a big deal. :)
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The makeup removing wipes and the fluffy towels. The decor that made it feel like a home instead of a hotel.
Cons: Would have liked a sooner check in with the cleaning staff. Didn’t have one check the entire weekend.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in downtown Luray, only a few minutes drive fro Thornton Gap entrance station. The beds are extremely comfortable. My dad said that it was the most comfortable bed he had slept in his life.
Cons: Although it is recently renovated, it is an old building. The handle of the oven is falling. The power went out for about two hours during a thunderstorm. But the staff was able to buy us some candles. They charged $25 for extra person to my credit card afterwards, which is never stated on their website and during my booking process.

Pros: It is what I expected.
Cons: Nothing
4.2 Okay
Pros: The checkin was quick and the front desk staff was very cooperative.
Cons: Room - Ants in the room. Bathroom was very tiny and not up to the standard. Internet never worked on the phone and whole experience with internet was like I am back in 90s. If you are coming to this town last minute and cannot find any stay then ofcourse why not but if you have other options, ppease avoid.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: It had hot water
Cons: Smelt of smoke. Door had wet putty from the lock being put back. Hair in bed. No soap or toilet paper so had to go get it. Very old beds and pillows that smelt musty
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: The morning after we checked in we found ants on the nightstand in between the two beds. Pulled the nightstand out and ants everywhere. So we cleaned it up. Woke up the last morning and found ants everywhere again.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location was great for my stay just dirty.
Cons: Room, check in person looked like they hadn't washed their hair in 6 months, cleaning people couldn't speak English, breakfast was dirty place to eat, food was sad, room looked like it hadn't had any maintance sine it was built. Will NEVER stay at another Days inn or Budget inn period
8.8 Excellent
Pros: So close to the area where we visited
Cons: A/c unit is noisy
6.2 Good
Pros: It was conveniently located near Shenandoah National Park and the Luray Caverns.
Cons: Outlets would not hold any plugs in. Phone chargers literally fell right out of the wall. The lamps in the room were the only plugs that stayed in place and only because they were bent. We also lost power when my wife used a blow dryer and it took 7 hours and multiple requests for it to be restored.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: like the room size, new appliance to the bathroom. every room has microwave, AC and refrigerator
Cons: i don't like the bed sheet, it looks like very old, not cleaned and at the window don't have net. so that's why if any one open the glass window then some bee's, Mosquitoes or other insect could come during the summer time. and every room/bathroom need at least one trash can.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Close to the restaurants, big parking lot,
Cons: Price to high for the quality of the hotel
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean, there was a microwave and a fridge, and the shower was hot. The staff was excellent -- very friendly and helpful about letting me check out late!

Pros: We arrived late and Donna was totally unpressuring and accomodating...and breakfast was excellent! Our attic suite was quaint, old fashioned, romantic and very clean. The town of Luray had a phenominal New Years fire works display and we were within a few minutes of Luray Caverns and 2 hours of Mt Vernon which we toured during our stay. Donna was attentive, hospitable and caring. She obviously takes great effort to make your stay as near perfect as she can make it. The personal touches in decor and conversation speak of her character and really put you at ease and make you feel right at home.
