Naples hotels near Obelisco dell'Immacolata

Pros: The location is great, away from the bustle of the historical center but close to Chaia neighborhood. Wonderful view of the sea, the castle, Vesuvio! The rooms are spacious with an allure of classic elegance. The balcony in the room is definitely a plus! The rooftop terrace is fantastic.

Cons: The mattresses need an upgrade. Being in Naples the room service should include more traditional Italian products (i.e. the cheese platter selection is poor). The bath products need upgrading. Again being in Campania a lemon / orange Capri product line would be a better choice.

Pros: Close to dining and shopping. Close to the port to catch the ferry to Capri and the other islands. Its the best hang out spot in naples. Staff was friendly.

Pros: Our room was traditional but had all the modern things you needed although the AC was a bit noisy. The rooms are beautifully upholstered with tall windows and those velvet curtains and the crown molding on the ceiling. Stunning old Italy. The location is right on the water front promenade and we had a view to mount Vesuvius .

Cons: The staff though are a bit on edge- we asked for an iron and they said they had none with a stern shrill voice and when asking for recommendations they’re just like “here’s a magazine and there’s google bye “. Which is understandable cause they’re not a small boutique hotel but what ever happened to service with a smile ?

Cons: Seemed like one day this was a grand hotel. Today it's old and dusty. The room size was great but the sheets were rough and the hallways looked like they needed to be vacuumed.

Pros: Sacrifice small accommodations for central location than this hotel is OK. Great breakfast buffet

Pros: Great location. Very pleasant lady checked me in, my room was also upgraded which was a nice surprise. Great view of the bay from my room. Clean. Very nice marble bath room.

Cons: The hotel is quite grand but you can see in certain areas it could do with a bit of TLC. Parts of the hotel could do with a bit of a make over and a lick of paint. I decided to leave the breakfast buffet at 30 euro it seemed a bit expensive you could stuff yourself with espresso and pastries at many local bars for much less. There was a little note left in my room that said if there was anything the hotel could do to help me enjoy my stay to just ask. The plug socket to charge my phone was quite far from my bed which I found a little annoying as I would have liked to charge my phone in bed. I thought it was a bit of a long shot but because of this note I thought I'd ask if it was possible to have an extention. I expected probably to be told 'sorry sir we havnt got one' . Which is fair enough. However, the member of staff I asked looked at me like I'd just made the most bizarre request he'd ever heard, just answered 'No' in less than a second and seemed more concerned about getting his coat on for his break. The next morning I went to check out and order a taxi to catch my early flight. There was noone at the reception. I then however heard snoring. I followed the noise to find this same member of staff asleep on a sofa in the lobby with no shoes on. I had to wake him up so I could check out. Not usually what I'd expect at a 4 star hotel haha. Is a great location but definitely not worth the money they ask for. I have had much better value for money and customer service in hotels all over Italy. I splurged a bit in order to stay here and received £45 cash back via a genius deal. Even with this money back I feel as if this hotel is overpriced. This is in November aswell. I can't imagine what they charge in summer.

Cons: We ordered a deluxe two persons room. But instead you gave us superior two person room. Nobody in the reception to help us, the reception was close.

Cons: The room was not clean when I checked in. There was hair and toenail clippings on the floor. A quick vacuuming would have helped. Also I was not aware of any extra city tax, or that the check in desk would refuse to accept a credit card payment for it.

Pros: The rooms were spacious and the building was located next to a plaza with lots of cafes and directly next to a metro station making it convenient to get around town.

Cons: The check-in process was not pleasant. We had to go to another location for check-in where they said there would be a complimentary shuttle to drive us to our building, but due to traffic the shuttle did not show up for over an hour. When we finally asked the staff where it was they said they had no idea when it would arrive. We understand that traffic can be an unanticipated issue, however, our displeasure was with the communication. We were originally told the shuttle would be 20 minutes and then never received an update as we waited over an hour. When we went up to the desk to ask they could not give an estimated time and said it should be here soon. Despite not communicating the shuttle status, they did make a point to get up from behind the desk to let us know the unlabeled waters in the fridge at the check in area cost one euro each after we had grabbed a few during our one hour wait for the shuttle (the staff had simply said "prego" when we asked them if we could grab a water originally). Our group was planning to go to the museum before closing, but had to cancel those plans when we ended up walking to our building. We were also charged twice initially although they refunded the second payment immediately after I reached out. Finally, we saw online there was a common space with tables and chairs that our group could meet up in, but it was not open during our stay.

Pros: Clean, spacious right in the middle of Napoli

Cons: Parking is not provided and it’s quite expensive to park in a nearby garage (usually 25 eur per day). You need to park in garage first as the B&B is in limited traffic zone

Pros: The location was really good, easy to walk around and discover Naples. The rooms were also very nice and clean, with essential appliances inside.

Cons: Overall, the stay was very nice, for the future would be good to also send the email about the location of check-in in English at the bottom, or to add this in the description on booking.com.

Cons: A very poor quality of mattress

Pros: Staff was exceptional from before arrival until departure.

Pros: Staff were lovely, the location was excellent and very easy to navigate around the city. The rooms were artsy and comfortable.

Cons: There was no breakfast offered (we were told - no breakfast because we are moving reception) and the walls/door were very thin and we got woken up by other guests at various times throughout the night.

Cons: Only thing not so good about this hotel is the location. Right next to the central train station, which is convenient, however the area is sketchy. Lots of pickpockets

Pros: Hotel is in front of train station, metro, and bus to airport. Facilities of hotel is nice.

Cons: Breakfast is not what we expected such as sausages were soaked with oil, scramble egg was soaked etc.

Pros: The location of the hotel is just next to the central hub of public transportation so it makes it very convenient to get around. The rooms have been updated so they are modern and housekeeping services for the room and bathroom cleanliness are excellent - this makes our stay very comfortable.

Cons: limited choice for b/fast especially in the hot food section. The elderly gentleman at the Reception was not very helpful when asked how to get around to some of the tourist highlights.

Pros: Overall the hotel and room were very nice. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. Also, the restaurant was very nice for lunch and dinner. I was here to present at a conference and the conference rooms of the hotel were nice and they provided folders, papers, pens, and water for participants. The hotel was right next to the central metro station which was very convenient to get on the metro and do some sightseeing. However, I don't think this hotel is in a "tourist area" and it is more where the locals go to catch the bus and the metro.

Cons: The hotel is in a sketchy area and the room I had was noisy. I would not go out after dark. I was sexually harassed on the street one night while I was trying to get dinner. During the day was okay though. The room was also cold at night and no matter what setting I put the thermostat at the temperature never changed. The tv and treadmill in the fitness center did not work. Also, the business center was not available due to renovations. In addition, I asked the front desk staff what/where there was to sightsee and I was just given a city map with no indication of where things were located. The woman just circled a broad area of the map and told me to go there. That was not helpful at all.

Pros: Good location if you are using the train station a lot.

Cons: Rough neighborhood at night.

Pros: Clean good value and THE closest to train station. Other hotels advertise they are close but you would have to navigate across very busy streets. Staying at this hotel because of its proximity to the train station was the best move we could have made!

Pros: Très propre et bien situé. Le quartier est sympa et animé. La piscine est un avantage incontestable à Naples où il n'y a pas de plage. Je rassure les nouveaux: le wifi marche très bien!

Cons: La salle de bain était un peu vétuste et humide. Un bruit de moteur sourd était présent en continu. Un personnel très contrasté: des gens très aimables et souriants et des personnes très désagréables qu'on avait l'impression de déranger!

Cons: Breakfast was served cold, even though I got there at 6:45am. There is a receptionist at night that wanted me to eat what I ordered from outside at 1am, although at 10:30pm they close the restaurant and the bar is closed at 12am. I was travelling for work, so, the first day I got there I fell asleep and woke up at 12am, I called justeat because I just had breakfast that day and then the receptionist told me that it was disrespectful (althought their restaurant was already closed). I asked him if he wanted me to eat on the street in the cold and standing, if he wanted me to eat outside like a dog and he laughed at me. Next day I went in the morning to ask if what he was doing was "correct" although treating people like that, IT'S DISRESPECTFUL and the woman told me that they have that rule but because it was 1am I was allowed to bring food from outside because their restaurant was closed. The staff was nice but not that man, however, I think the hotel could hire more professional people. There are a lot of young people that aren't cordial or helpful. The first day there were no blankets in my room and the next day one pillow case was missing. I went there to relax after working non-stop a whole week but it ended up being much more stressful.

Pros: The hotel staff were great and the room was terrific. There was a great balcony and the view was incredible.

Cons: The shower was awful. There was only a partial "door", and water got everywhere when you took a shower. We had to cover the floor in every towel we had in preparation for the swamp that followed. The pool also required swim caps which was weird and a big bummer because who wants to wear a swim cap?

Cons: It was too hot in the room. The air conditioning was not working. My friends and myself are thinking that the hotel was not corresponded to a four stars hotel.

Pros: The hotel itself was excellent. Naples however, I will NEVER return to. I’d compare it to an impoverished, underdeveloped Caribbean country that needs to get its act together. If you actually spend money to travel, choose a different destination. Please.

Cons: Sub-par rooms, no kettle in room, clueless staff (nobody knew what a bath mat was, for example), broken fridge they wouldn’t fix (they said it’s supposed to be warm!), took 30 minutes to get my car (they had said 15 minutes), also no breakfast. Stayed at a much cheaper and nicer hotel down the block. Wish I had booked that hotel for my days in Naples! You can get much better value than this hotel. A fail for the Sofitel chain.
