Ironing board broken. I asked for additional toilet tissue that never arrived. Room service not available... I understand going to other facilities but on cold & rainy days it would be nice to order in.
The front desk staff was more than polite and helpful at check-in&check-out. Very well kept facilities. Location to eateries excellent (even though we didn't get to experience them). Early check out from initial plan due to cancelled events. Free shuttle service with Dee as our driver was very accommodating! Also, have to mention the XTRA attentiveness given by staff (Mechelle) regarding hygienic precautions with equipment during the heightened concerns over the viral outbreak. Appreciate her efforts to assure us of their concern for our well- being!
The only thing negative I experienced at this hotel was the lack "consideration" of who I believed to be housekeeping staff that next morning after our first and ONLY night there. We were taking advantage of an opportunity to sleep in that we rarely get when at home due to a number of things like having to get up for work, etc... And having paid for that time we expected to be able to enjoy it, but not so, thanks to someone out in the hallway that kept talking loudly like they were each cleaning in different rooms but conversing back and forth about their work schedules and such, not to mention bumping and knocking things around! Quite a commotion! I understand they have a job to do and get done prob by a certain time but all I ask is for the respect for people who may be on a different schedule than others and have paid for that privilege to sleep in if they want. That's part of the luxury of staying in a hotel, for me anyway.
The location was pretty good. Easy to get around. The room was spacious and had the amenities. The hot breakfast was greatly appreciated and had different options daily.
The complimentary shuttle didn't go to as many locations as the description suggests.
everything went well, except for the transportation of which I will address on next question
when I booked the room, I was under the impression that we had transportation to downtown Nashville. This wasn't the case. After checking in, we were told the shuttle bus only had a two mile radius from the Hotel. I felt this should have been explained to us when we booked the room. Since we were from out of town and not familiar with Nashville, I was relying on this service that really wasn't available.
The smell in the elevators and hallways.
