It is close to ferry. We book it because we take last ferry from PEI and are heading to Cape Breton on the next day. The last ferry arrived at 9 pm and it take 15 min to this healing center. So, it is convenient for next day to Cape Breton. Also, it is great that the host made a simple breakfast for us so that we can go to Cape Breton without hungry.
Too much requirement and poor facility. I don’t feel and find any healing. Maybe because I come at 9 pm and leave at 8 am. The bathing water is cool and the bedroom cannot be locked. It is a hook and eye to lock the door. So, the price is too high undertheir facility. It has no wireless but they mentioned when you book.
No parking except on one way street, Full of flight of stairs No wifi No use of fridge No TV
It was an attractive period property and host was very welcoming. Comfortable beds. Location quiet but within easy walking distance of restaurants.
No lock on bedroom door. Too many rules. Only one bathroom shared between 3 separate sets of guests (5 people in total). Poor shower. Limited choice at breakfast and guests expected (told) to clear the table after eating.
Shower was not good, bedroom doors did not lock. No place to plug in phone for charging or making plans for continuing my trip. No key was given to the house if I wanted to go out at night and so once they lock the doors no getting back in. I did not appreciate the "turn off your phone and computer" before entering. As someone traveling those devices are necessary to continue planning my trip. Wallpaper was in bad condition and the place was not clean. Also site pricing is very badly set-up on bookings.com. Beware of bait and switch if you want the second bed in the double room. No internet. As well the security is somewhat questionable, I had closed the door to my room when leaving and I came back to find the door open. Do not recommend.
